REPRESENTAÇÕES DE CRIANÇAS SOBRE A POPULAÇÃO NEGRA: CONTAÇÃO DE HISTÓRIAS EM UMA ESCOLA MUNICIPAL DO ESTADO DO PARANÁ

Because we believe that the school is a space conducive to hear and narrate stories, this text aims to report a didactic-pedagogical experience held in a school located in the city of Campo Mourao-PR. We try to answer the following problems: what representations of race that circulate in Early Childhood Education? We selected for the pedagogical actions a group with twenty children aged between 4 and 5 years, who study in the class of Level II. The selection of Early Childhood Education was due to the fact that in this stage, children are in the process of formation and identity construction. We consider that the narratives that circulate in the school, the stories that are told and the representations that are seen as references need to be revisited and pluralized, to problematize and deconstruct the model of whiteness established by society.
