The increasing popularity of social networking is providing new opportunities for businesses in electronic commerce. It is evolving in order to adopt Web 2.0 capabilities to support online customer interactions and achieve greater economic value. This trend is referred to as social commerce. This study offers the result of a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to explain the concept of social commerce. In order to elaborate this article, 64 papers were considered from the main digital libraries that index computer science conferences and journals. Applying a systematic analysis to these papers, it was possible to summarize the existing evidence concerning the social commerce and outline some open challenges.

Traditionally, computing infrastructure has been a substantial burden for companies. But what happens when business are unchained from their physical infrastructure and allowed to focus on business goal ? The model of infrastructure as a service and cloud computing bring us closer to this possibility. In this paper we discussed the growth of the web based service industry. The myriad of service now available over the internet rely on data center spread around the world. One of the major new trends in computing the rise of what is known as cloud computing, in witch not only service are offered remotely over the internet, but also a full menu of computing resource such a computing power, storage, databases, and many other resources.

Currently, most cloud computing deployments are generally supported through the use of large scale data centres. There is a common perception that by developing scalable computation, storage, network, and by energy-acquisition at preferential prices, data centres are able to provide more efficient, reliable and cost effective hosting environments for user applications. However, although the network capacity within and in the proximity of such a data centre may be high – the connectivity of a user to their first hop network may not be. Understanding how a distributed cloud can be provisioned, enabling capability to be made available “closer” to a user (geographically or based on network metrics, such as number of hops or latency), remains an important challenge – aiming to provide the same benefits as a centralised cloud, but with better Quality of Service for mobile users. With increasing proliferation of mobile devices and sensor-based deployments, understanding how data from such devices can be processed in closer proximity to the device (ranging from capability directly available on the device or through firsthop network nodes from the device) also forms an important requirement of such distributed clouds. We review a number of technologies that could be useful enablers of distributed clouds – outlining common themes across them and identifying potential business models.

Federated identity management is a set of technologies and processes supporting dynamically distribute identity information. Its adoption in Public Administrations maintains organizations autonomy giving at the same time citizens support to access the services that are distributed across security domains. In this paper, we propose the Marche Region experience for what concern federate identity management focusing on the regional authentication framework, named FedCohesion. It is bases on Security Assertion Markup Language standard and it results from Cohesion re-engineering. It is the old style legacy authentication framework. We first present resulting architecture showing supported identification process and pilot applications. Lessons learned and opportunities have been also presented.

The evolution of the approach users have with the World Wide Web particularly towards social media has led to the need of e-commerce platforms aimed at user interaction. Offering a service focussing only on online shopping is no longer satisfactory. In order to provide a successful user-seller interaction, further Web 2.0 tools need to be offered. This development of electronic shopping which provides new business opportunities is called social commerce. This paper aims at describing the SmartSocialMarket architecture, which is based on e-commerce components and, at an upper level, on social components. Social components allow for the provision of tools that can improve the user interaction within the platform, and can also offer new market opportunities to sellers. Management of digital identity involves every company and institution, not only in the internet world. Among different identity management models, only the federated one is able to ensure a strong protection in terms of trust and privacy. In fact, the participants in the federation decide to trust each other about which information can be exchanged in the processes of authentication and authorisation, based on established policies to manage relationships of trust. According to this, it has been widely adopted during the last years. In particular, its adoption in Public Administration allows a proper organisation autonomy, supporting access to the services offered by the institution. This process is going to quickly raise with the progressive adoption of cloud computing by Public Administrations. In the paper, two projects accomplishing federated digital identity in Italian Public Administrations are presented. Starting from lessons learned, authors highlight a path forward for Public Administration toward federated digital identity in cloud computing scenario.

Identity management is a set of technologies and processes supporting identity information. Its adoption in Public Administration, in particular in the domain of university, maintains organization autonomy giving at the same time students and staff support to access the services that are delivered. In this paper we present a project lead by University of Camerino with the Italian Banking Group UBI and the Namirial Certification Authority. The project consists in the issue of Enjoy my UniCam card allowing users to have, on a single physical card, several functionalities about facilitated banking account, university services and digital signature certificate. First results about the testing phase are presented as well as the next steps of the project.
