Autonomic Networks, as active networks with self-management, can configure network service dynamically by apperceiving environmental changes, which enhance the adaptive ability of service. The key to improve autonomic network service adaptation is overcoming the incompatibility between service interfaces. In virtue of modeling and analytical ability of Petri net, we model the autonomic network service, and define the concepts of opposite service, service simulation and so on. We also discuss the logical correctness of service. On the basis of autonomic network service model, we analyze the patterns of incompatibility between services, giving the formal representation and solution of incompatibility. Finally, we propose a detection algorithm of service compatibility, which is implemented in the service models. By running detection algorithm, we can achieve the location and pattern of service incompatibility. The achievements of this study have significant reference value to the research on the autonomic networks service adaption which includes service discovery, composition and replacement.

In Cognitive radio ad hoc networks (CRAHNs), the secondary users (SUs) or cognitive radio nodes (CRs) are always equipped with limited energy and have a high error probability of data transmission. To address this issue, we first describe the network utility under energy constraint as a max-min model, where the re-transmission strategy with network coding is employed. Additionally, the expression of retransmission probability is presented in terms of power and bit error rate (BER). Moreover, since the max-min model is non-convex in both objective and constraints, we use a normal-form game to find a near-optimal solution. The simulation results show that the proposed approach could achieve a higher network utility than the compared approaches.

To deal with the existence of malicious secondary users bring damage to the performance of cooperative spectrum sensing, a trust game model named FRTrust is proposed. In FRTrust, the reputation status is used to describe the performance of a secondary user in cooperative spectrum sensing process. It encourages secondary users to choose positive and honest behavior strategies for greater and long term benefits. If a secondary user departs from the normal times in its life period, it will be punished superimposed. Simulation results show that the FRTrust algorithm can improve the transaction success ratio of cooperative spectrum sensing, and guarantee the fairness and spectrum access performance for cognitive radio networks.

Survivability is the capability of a system to fulfill its mission in the presence of attacks, failures, or accidents, and recover full service in a timely manner. On the basis of J. K. Millen’s survivability measure method, the paper sets the PST-based (processing-storage-transmission) survivability system model, gives description of survivability of PST-based survivability systematic model, and proposes the algorithm of PST-based system survivability measure. Finally, it composes a system based on processing, storage and transmission, and gets the data of system survivability measure with the algorithm. It proves that the feasibility and validity of the method of PST-based system survivability measure.
