THERMAL AND SPECTROSCOPIC ANALYSIS OF NATURAL TRIOCTAHEDRAL CHLORITES

A set of seven natural trioctahedral chlorites have been studied. Thermogravimetric techniques and infrared spectroscopy were used to determine the thermal dehydroxylation of the samples. Relationships between the compositions of the chlorites and their thermograms were established. A kinetic analysis was also undertaken.ZusammenfassungEs wurde eine Reihe von sieben natürlichen trioktaedrischen Chloriten untersucht. Mittels TG-Techniken und IR-Spektroskopie wurde die thermische Dehydroxylierung der Proben untersucht. Es konnten ZusammenhÄnge zwischen der Zusammensetzung der Chlorite und ihrer Thermogramme festgestellt werden. Weiterhin wurde eine kinetische Analyse vorgenommen.

Kinetics of thermal dehydration of Ce2(SO4)2, n(H, D)2O (n=5, 8, 9)

The thermal dehydration of Ce2(SO4)3·5H2O, Ce2(SO4)3·8H2O, Ce2(SO4)3·9H2O and their isomorphous deuterated compounds was studied by means of thermogravimetric measurements. A kinetic analysis of the TG curves obtained was carried out by computer. The thermal stability, Arrhenius parameters and mechanism of dehydration were investigated.ZusammenfassungDie thermische Dehydratisierung von Ce2(SO4)3·5H2O, Ce2(SO4)3·8H2O und Ce2(SO4)3·9H2O und die entsprechenden deuterierten Verbindungen wurden thermogravimetrisch untersucht. Die kinetische Analyse der erhaltenen TG-Kurven wurde mittels eines Computers ausgeführt. Die thermische Stabilität, die Arrhenius-Parameter und der Mechanismus der Dehydratisierung wurden untersucht.РезюмеМетодом ТГ изучена термическая дегидратация соединений Ce2(SO4)3·5H2O, Ce2(SO4)3·8H2O, Ce2(SO4)3·9H2O и их соответствующих дейтеропроизводных. Кинетический анализ полученных кривых ТГ был проведен с помощью ЭВМ. Были исследованы термоустойчивость, аррениусовские параметры и механизм реакции дегидратации.

The thermal dehydration of Sr(HCOO)2·2(H, D)2O. Influence of the isotopic substitution on the kinetics

The kinetics of thermal dehydration of Sr(HCOO)2·2(H, D)2O were investigated using a dynamic thermogravimetric technique. Differences were found when the hydrogen was partially substituted by deuterium. These differences were explained by means of a microscopic approach based on the static and dynamic microscopic properties.ZusammenfassungDie Kinetik der thermischen Dehydratisierung von Sr(HCOO)2·2(H, D)2O wurde mittels dynamischer Thermogravimetrie untersucht. Bei partieller Substitution von Wasserstoff durch Deuterium wurden Unterschiede gefunden, die durch eine auf den statischen und dynamischen mikroskopischen Eigenschaften beruhende Betrachtungsweise erklärt werden.РезюмеМетодом динамическо й ТГ исследована кине тика термической дегидра тации Sr(HCOO)2 · 2(H, D)2O. При частичном з амещении водорода на дейтерий обнаружены определенные различия, которые объ яснены на основе стат ических и динамических микрос копических свойств.
