An Evaluation of a Brief Course in Psychology at the U. S. Naval Academy

the U. S. Naval Academy took an eight hour course in psychology, a course organized around a specially prepared text, Psychology for Naval Leaders. In addition, the 800 midshipmen were subjected to seven hours of psychologically oriented lecture and discussion. An experiment was designed to appraise the educational effects of this limited exposure to psychological material.
