Method to suppress multipath in radio receivers

Francesco Adduci

The present study applies to FM radio receivers. Estimating the energy of a FM modulated signal by the Teager-Kaiser nonlinear energy operator (TEO), it is possible to detect, mitigate and/or suppress the effect of multipath on the signal captured by antenna at the receiving set.
