Industrial Location, Relations with Regional Agents, Formation and Innovation in Spanish Aquaculture

This paper tries to contrast theories and location factors with the results of an open investigation on management of intellectual capital in aquaculture. We analyse the applicability of endogenous development models and enterprise networks, from an alternative point of view different from the hierarchy and the market, finally theories about the formation weight and the R&D&i efforts in real investments and real expenditures that the spanish aquaculture companies assume are contrasted, in competitiveness terms.

Development of Technological Vigilance Systems in Spanish Aquaculture

In this paper we characterize the process of technological monitoring like enterprise answer to the necessary adjustment to turbulent environments and like origin of competitive advantages. In this respect we fulfil a theoretical critique, a strategic analysis of the above-mentioned monitoring like tool for the competitive development of the company in sectors involved with the research, development and innovation (R+D+i), as well as a sequential adjustment to the development of aquaculture. On the above mentioned base we have realized an application to the Spanish Aquaculture, by means of the resistance of three hypotheses related to the global level of development of the systems, the factors and agents of the environment and the use of sources of intelligence, all of them through statistical program SPSS 18. PERCEPCIÓN EMPRESARIAL DE LA MEJORA DEL ENLACE FERROVIARIO VIGO-OPORTO Y MODELIZACIÓN DE LA ELECCIÓN MODAL

This work analyzes the use of the train by the Galician companies when they do business transactions with northern Portuguese operators. The residual usage of this infrastructure (0.01 of all the transactions) is proved opposite the masive use of the truck; factors that explain the choice and the possible truck-versus-train replacement are established. The statistical study includes representative industrial companies and the main consignees of regular lines in the port of Vigo as spectrum. A formative explained structural equation model and a linear regression of the modal choice and its effect on the referred replacement are suggested. As conclusion, the need of improvement of the infrastructures in the connection mentioned above is assessed by companies and logistic operators (these last ones are more interested in changing) although the real liberalization of the rail operators market is a priority as without this, the improvement mentioned above would not affect the modal choice significantly.
