Diode-pumped Nd:LuVO4-Nd:YVO4 laser at 492 nm with intracavity sum-frequency-mixing in LiB3O6

We present for the first time a Nd:YVO4 laser emitting at 1064 nm intracavity pumped by a 916 nm diode-pumped Nd:LuVO4 laser. A 809 nm laser diode is used to pump the Nd:LuVO4 crystal emitting at 916 nm, a Nd:YVO4 laser crystal was pumped at 916 nm and lased at 1064 nm. Intracavity sum-frequency mixing at 916 and 1064 nm was then realized in a LiB3O6 (LBO) crystal to reach the blue range. We obtained a continuous-wave output power of 216 mW at 492 nm under 19.6 W of incident pump power at 809 nm.

Continuous-wave dual-wavelength operation of a diode-end-pumped Nd:GGG laser

A dual-wavelength continuous-wave (CW) diode-pumped Nd:LuVO4 laser that generates simultaneous laser action at the wavelengths 1066 and 1343 nm is demonstrated. A total dual-wavelength output power of 2.58 W was achieved at the incident pump power of 18.2 W. Furthermore, intracavity sum-frequency mixing at 1066 and 1343 nm was then realized in a LBO crystal to reach the yellow range. We obtained a total CW yellow output power of 830 mW at 594 nm.

All-solid-state doubly resonant sum-frequency mixing laser at 555 nm

We report for the first time a coherent radiation at 555 nm by intracavity sum-frequency generation of 946 nm Nd:YAG laser and 1343 nm Nd:LuVO4 laser. Yellow-green laser is obtained by using a doubly folded cavity, type-II critical phase matching KTP crystal sum-frequency mixing. With total pump power of 31.9 W (13.7 W pump power for 1343 nm Nd:LuVO4 laser and 18.2 W pump power for 946 nm Nd:YAG laser), TEM00 mode yellow-green laser at 555 nm of 2.35 W is obtained.

Diode-pumped Nd3+:YAl3(BO3)4 laser at 1338 nm

A high-power diode -pumped Nd3+:YAl3(BO3)4 (Nd:YAB) laser emitting at 1338 nm is described. At the incident pump power of 9.8 W, as high as 734 mW of continuous-wave (CW) output power at 1338 nm is achieved. The slope efficiency with respect to the incident pump power was 9.0%. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first demonstration of such a laser system. The output power stability over 60 min is better than 2.6%. The laser beam quality M2 factor is 1.21.

Diode-pumped Nd:YVO4-LBO laser at 544 nm based on intracavity sum frequency generation

A dual-wavelength continuous-wave (CW) diode-pumped Nd:YVO4 laser that generates simultaneous laser action at the wavelengths 914 and 1342 nm is demonstrated. A total dual-wavelength output power of 1.79 W was achieved at the incident pump power of 18.2 W. Furthermore, intracavity sum-frequency mixing at 914 and 1342 nm was then realized in a LBO crystal to reach the yellow-green range. We obtained a total CW output power of 212 mW at 544 nm.

All-solid-state Nd:YAG-LBO yellow laser at 572 nm

We report for the first time a continuous-wave (CW) yellow laser emission by sum-frequency mixing in Nd:YAG crystal. Using type-I critical phase-matching LBO crystal, a yellow laser at 572 nm is obtained by 1444 and 946 nm intracavity sum-frequency mixing. The maximum laser output power of 178 mW is obtained when an incident pump laser of 18.2 W is used. At the output power level of 178 mW, the output stability is better than 4.2%.

Efficient all solid-state CW yellow-green light source

A dual-wavelength continuous-wave (CW) diode-pumped Nd:YAG laser that generates simultaneous laser action at the wavelengths 946 nm and 1319 nm is demonstrated. A total yellow-green output power of 2.33 W for the dual-wavelength was achieved at the incident pump power of 18.2 W. Furthermore, intracavity sum-frequency mixing at 946 and 1319 nm was then realized in a LBO crystal to reach the yellow-green range. We obtained a total CW output power of 340 mW at 551 nm.

Continuous-wave laser at 453 nm based on frequency-doubled diode-pumped Nd:ASL crystal

Efficient and compact is generated by intracavity frequency doubling of a diode-pumped Sr1−xLax − yNdyMgxAl12 − xO19(Nd:ASL) laser at 906 nm. With 10.3 W of diode pump power and the frequency-doubling crystal LiB3O6 (LBO), a maximum output power of 281 mW in the blue spectra] range at 453 nm has been achieved, corresponding to an optical-to-optical conversion efficiency of 2.7%; the output power stability over 4 h is better than 3.8%.

All solid-state CW orange-red laser at 620 nm

We report for the first time a continuous-wave (CW) orange-red radiation at 620 nm by intracavity sum-frequency generation of 1085-nm Nd:YVO4 laser and 1444-nm Nd:YAG laser. Using type-II critical phase matching KTP crystal, 620-nm orange-red laser was obtained by 1085- and 1444-nm intra-cavity sum-frequency mixing, and output power of 223 mW was demonstrated. At the output power level of 223 mW, the output power stability is better than 3% and laser beam quality M2 factor is 1.32.

Compact CW 485-nm laser based on sum-frequency mixing of diode pumped Nd:LuVO 4 -Yb:YAG lasers

We report for the first time a continuous-wave (CW) coherent radiation at 485 nm by intracavity sum-frequency generation of 916 nm Nd:LuVO4 laser and 1030 nm Yb:YAG laser. Blue laser is obtained by using a doubly cavity, type-II critical phase matching KTP crystal sum-frequency mixing. With total pump power of 30.2 W, TEM00 mode blue laser at 485 nm of 179 mW is obtained. The blue power stability in 30 min is better than 3%.
