Abstract A search has been made for energetic protons and α-particles arising from the Pauli principle violating processes of exoergic inelastic p , p ′ scattering and p , α reaction on carbon. Upon limits of 40 fb/sr and 56 fb/sr for the differential cross section for p , p ′ and p , α were obtained. They correspond to the limits of cross section ratios between the Pauli principle violating processes and elastic scattering of 1.3×10 −13 and 1.8×10 −13 , respectively.

SummaryThe pd break-up cross-sections for different kinematically complete configurations have been measured atEplab = 22.7 MeV. The data are compared with predictions of the Argonne AV14, Bonn B, Nijmegen and Paris potentials. Clear discrepancies between theory and experimental data have been found, which cannot be explained by angular resolutions of the experimental set-up.

The10B(d, αα)4He reaction was studied at energies between 4.2 and 6.6 MeV in kinematical plane-star conditions with special emphasis on sequential processes through the8Be state of 11.4 MeV. The results are compared with predictions of the Quebert model.

The quasifree scattering and reaction processes in the3H+2H→d→d+n interaction leaving a neutron as a spectator have been investigated at incident triton energies around 35 MeV. The results compare well with the predictions from Plane Wave Impulse Approximation, arbitrarily normalized to the data. The final energy prescription was used.

SummaryThe quasi-free (p, pd) scattering measured at 20 and 42 MeV proton energy was used as a tool to investigate the α-d structure of6Li. The analysis of the quasi-free peaks in the spectra was performed by means of the PWIA with a cut-off radius in the intercluster wave function. The same value of the α-d clustering probability in6Li is deduced from both the measurements.
