Über ψ-tetra-, penta- und hexakoordinierte sulfinatokomplexe des zinns

Ekkehard Lindner; Udo Kunze; G. Vitzthum; G. Ritter; Armin Haag

Abstract Colourless, stable, polymeric, ψ-tetrahedrally coordinated O -sulfinates of divalent tin, Sn(O 2 SR) 2 , were obtained by reaction of SNCl 2 ·2 H 2 O with sodium organosulfinates, NaO 2 SR (R = p -CH 3 C 6 H 4 , C 6 H 5 ), in ethanol. Colourless penta- and hexa-coordinated double O -sulfinato complexes of the type (C 6 H 5 ) 3 SnO 2 SR, (C 6 H 5 ) 2 Sn(O 2 SR) 2 and (CH 3 ) 2 Sn(O 2 SR) 2 were formed respectively by reaction of triphenyltin chloride and diphenyl- and dimethyltin dichloride with sodium organosulfinates, NaO 2 SR (R = p -CH 3 C 6 H 4 , C 6 H 5 , CH 3 ), in THF. The structural investigations were performed with the aid of infrared, Raman, Mossbauer, and mass spectroscopy.

Zur kenntnis metallorganischer trifluormethansulfonyl-komplexe

Ekkehard Lindner; Helmut Weber; G. Vitzthum

Abstract From CF 3 SO 2 Cl and the organometallic Lewis bases [Re(CO) 5 ] − , [π-C 5 H 5 Fe(CO) 2 ] − and [Co(CO) 3 P(C 6 H 5 ) 3 ] − the stable, diamagnetic and monomeric trifluoromethanesulfonyl complexes R f SO 2 Re(CO) 5 , π-C 5 H 5 Fe(CO) 2 SO 2 R f and R f SO 2 Co(CO) 3 P(C 6 H 5 ) 3 (R f = CF 3 ), in which the metals and the perfluoroalkyl groups are linked together by SO 2 -bridges, were obtained for the first time. If one allows CF 3 SO 2 Cl to react with the neutral metal carbonyls Fe(CO) 5 and Ni(CO) 4 , the unstable compounds CF 3 SO 2 M(CO) 4 Cl are obtained which loose CO to give the (trifluoromethanesulfonyl)metal chlorides CF 3 SO 2 MCl (M = Fe, Ni). The structures of these new compounds are discussed on the basis of their IR and electronic spectra.
