Automated Data Acquisition System for Monitoring Electrical Stations

Mircea Dobriceanu; Alexandru Bitoleanu; Mihaela Popescu; Gabriel Vladut

In an efficient process drive, the monitoring function is absolutely necessary because decision can be taken only based on correct and complete information about the parameters which characterize the process. An example of a process which requires such a monitoring is represented by the one associated to a electrical energy flow supervision system, which has the purpose of monitoring and storing the electrical parameters which are taken from the electrical stations. In this way, it is presented an data acquisition equipment which is incorporated in a dispatching system aiming the monitoring and storing of electrical parameters which are taken from electrical cells which compose the supervised electrical station. The use of the equipment will allow permanent monitoring of electrical stations functioning and storing of events or flaws which can appear in the functioning process

Study case of direct sensitivity analysis applied to host pathogen cycles in self-regulated forest insect systems

Marius Fetoiu; Valentin Istratie; Gabriel Vladut; Matei Vinatoru; Comsa Ciprian

In this paper, we present a case study on the calculation of variation of state variables from the nominal trajectory to variations in initial conditions and parameters variation applied on host-pathogen cycles in self-regulated forest insect system. In this study we used for numerical calculation and computer simulation, direct sensitivity analysis. Mathematical model considered is the models G Anderson and May (1981). For this system we calculated sensitivity functions with respect to initial conditions in relation to the parameters. With sensitivity functions with respect to initial conditions in relation to system parameters can be done various scenarios. The advantage of this method is that enables us to determine the contribution of each state perturbations to the trajectory deviation.

Gabriel Vladut; Mircea Dobriceanu; Marius Fetoiu; Camelia Cojocaru; Cornelia Popa; Alexandru Craciun

The extension of computational technique for the generalization of automatics, information and process monitoring involve the conception and materialization of complex data acquisition equipments, processing, memorizing and sending data taken from those processes at a higher level-dispatcher. In this way, it is presented data acquisition equipment for energetic measures including parameters for quality of the electric energy which is incorporated in a dispatching system aiming the monitoring and storing of electrical measures which are taken from electrical cells which compose the supervised electrical station. There are distinguished the component elements of the monitoring system: Local data acquisition equipments (LDAqE), local data acquisition equipments synchronization subsystem, data communication subsystem, processing, storing and data displaying subsystem and the software for data processing at the dispatcher level and also at the local data acquisition equipment level.

Surveillance and control system for butterfly valves in Motru Hydro Power Plant

A. Craciun; Matei Vinatoru; E. Goace; Gabriel Vladut

This paper presents a command and control system implemented in Motru Hydro Power Plant. The system is an open system that allows further development of hardware and software, both the process and operating stations and in the communication system. System management is provided with the opportunity to connect to a higher level of supervision of the plant and monitoring SCADA systems in the central dispatcher (OPC 2.0, Modbus TCP / IP).

The online prediction of the faults for integrated maintenance and reliability

Cornelia Popa; Marius Fetoiu; Gabriel Vladut; Alexandru Craciun

The objective of this paper is to realize analytic studies and applications in oriented engineering, especially in maintenance, reliability and security of the big technical installations, particularly for the nuclear domain. Software applications were developed to permit the online automatic computation of the reliability, maintenance, availability and predictive maintenance parameters. This paper presents a task of an integrated application that accomplishes structural and dynamic analysis computation, geometric simulation, software for monitoring on-line predictive maintenance for the installation meant to tritium elimination, all based on scientific methods.

Gabriel Vladut; Camelia Cojocaru; Constantin Rusta; Ion Purcaru

Abstract This paper proposes to realize a general solution for the remote control of a MHEPS; This solution has implemented by the authors at MHEPS-Cerna which belong to Hidroelectrica Targu-Jiu. It is necessary to administrate efficiently the hydro-energetic resources, decrease the cost of the energy and increase the running security.

Data acquisition equipment for energy measuring in electrical stations

Mircea Dobriceanu; Alexandru Bitoleanu; Mihaela Popescu; Gabriel Vladut

Abstract Evolution and large scale spreading of the computational techniques allowed the design and realization of some acquisition, processing, storing and sending data taken from the process equipments to a superior level - dispatcher. In this way, it is presented a data acquisition equipment for energetic measures which is incorporated in a dispatching system aiming the monitoring and storing of electrical measures which are taken from electrical cells which compose the supervised electrical station. There is shown the system architecture underlining the taken signals, transducers used and the component elements of the system: Local data acquisition equipments (LDAqE), Local data acquisition equipments synchronization subsystem, Data communication subsystem and Processing, storing and data displaying subsystem.

Real Time Environmental Monitoring Centre

Ileana Hamburg; Gabriel Vladut; Stefan Balanica

ABSTRACT In this paper some results of European projects about the data acquisition systems, modelling of environment pollution by developing environmental regional monitoring centres which comply with regulatory requirements and protect public health are presented. The heart of each centre is a real time system for monitoring and detection of noxis, for prognosis and assisted decisions based on information about factors of industrial risks and meteorological conditions. The system will use fuzzy methods and neural networks for decisions and data mining for data analysis. The development of the centres is done within two EU-cooperation projects: the !NCOT and the MONITOR and they will be used by the Agencies of Civil Protection and Environment Protection in Romania in the regions Oltenia, Iasi, Arges.

Computerized assistance for decisional and process control in surface mining

Gabriel Vladut; Vasile Ogarlaci; Doru Bucur; Marin Smarandache

Abstract The distributed achievement concept with information processing in real time along with open architectural system allows his use in different local and central minings monitoring (production dispatcher, energetic dispatcher). The distributed structure allows the entire process to be divided in many careers that are connected to the Mining Exploitation, meaning that many mining exploitation careers communicate with CNLO, the higher level dispatcher being integrated in the Informatic System of National Lignite Company (CNLO), thus support in taking the optimum managing decisions is being offered. The system presented is implemented in Romania, EM Husnicioara surface mining and is proposed for 2 minins in Turkey.
