CAQDAS in Discursive Textual Analysis: Possible Applications in Qualitative Studies

This article presents a possibility of using Discursive Textual Analysis (DTA) with the use of CAQDAS (Computer Assisted Qualitative Data Analysis Software), in particular, the Sphinx Lexica. It is a qualitative study based on an empirical research whose instrument of data collection is formed by a questionnaire applied to 24 high school teachers. It concludes that the application of DTA with CAQDAS offers a greater quality in the data analysis and enables new understandings of the phenomenon studied to emerge.

Política de Educação Mercantilizada: quais os seus rumos? / Commodified education: what are the directions?

RESUMO – O presente artigo propoe a apresentacao de algumas reflexoes acerca do processo de mercantilizacao do ensino superior, o qual deve ser compreendido e analisado em um contexto historico e economico que se refere ao desmonte de politicas sociais sob a perspectiva do ideario neoliberal. E reconhecida a Educacao como direito social, e, nesse sentido, e identifica como privilegiada estrategia no processo de rompimento e superacao do neoliberalismo. Palavras-chave – Neoliberalismo. ABSTRACT – This article aims to present some reflections about the process of commercialisation of higher education, which should be understood and analyzed in a historical and economic context, that refers to dismantle social policies from the perspective of neo-liberal ideology. Recognizes Education as a social right, and, in this sense, identifies as privileged strategy in the process of breaking and overcoming of neoliberalism. Keywords – Neoliberalism. Commercialization.
