Crystal structure of poly[bis(μ-nicotinamide-κ2N1:O)bis(μ-4-nitrobenzoato-κ2O1:O1′)zinc]

Gülçin Şefiye Aşkın; Hacali Necefoğlu; Ali Murat Tonbul; Nefise Dilek; Tuncer Hökelek

The asymmetric unit of the title zinc(II) coordination polymer contains two 4-nitrobenzoate (NB) anions and two nicotinamide (NA) ligands. Only one of the two NB anions and one of the two NA ligands bridge adjacent ZnII ions through eight- and 12-membered rings, respectively, forming polymeric chains running along the a-axis direction.

Crystal structure of trans-diaquabis(4-cyanobenzoato-κO)bis(nicotinamide-κN1)cobalt(II)

Gülçin Şefiye Aşkın; Hacali Necefoğlu; Gamze Yılmaz Nayir; Raziye Çatak Çelik; Tuncer Hökelek

In the title complex, the CoII atom is located on an inversion centre and is coordinated by two 4-cyanobenzoate (CNB) anions, two nicotinamide (NA) ligands and two water molecules. The four O atoms in the equatorial plane form a slightly distorted square-planar arrangement, while the slightly distorted octahedral coordination sphere is completed by the two N atoms of the NA ligands in the axial positions.

Crystal structure and Hirshfeld surface analysis of aquabis(nicotinamide-κN1)bis(2,4,6-trimethylbenzoato-κO)zinc

Tuncer Hökelek; Gülçin Şefiye Aşkın; Safiye Özkaya; Hacali Necefoğlu

In the title Zn complex, the ZnII cation is five-coordinated in a distorted trigonal–bipyramidal geometry. The Hirshfeld surface analysis of the crystal structure indicates that the most important contributions for the crystal packing are from H⋯H (58.4%), H⋯C/C⋯H (20.3%) and H⋯O/O⋯H (18.3%) interactions.

Crystal structure of diaquabis(4-tert-butylbenzoato-κO)bis(nicotinamide-κN1)cobalt(II) dihydrate

Gülçin Şefiye Aşkın; Hacali Necefoğlu; Safiye Özkaya; R. Çatak Çelik; Tuncer Hökelek

The asymmetric unit of the monomeric cobalt complex, [Co(C11H13O2)2(C6H6N2O)2(H2O)2]·2H2O, contains one half of the complex molecule, one coordinating and one non-coordinating water, one 4-tert-butylbenzoate (TBB) ligand and one nicotinamide (NA) ligand; the Co atom lies on an inversion centre. The coordinating water molecules are hydrogen bonded to the carboxyl O atoms [O ⋯ O = 2.6230 (17) Å], enclosing an S(6) hydrogen-bonding motif, while intermolecular O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds link two of the non-coordinating water molecules to the coordinating water molecules and NA anions. In the crystal, O—H⋯O and N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the molecules, enclosing (8), (10) and (12) ring motifs, forming layers parallel to (001).

Crystal structure of diaquabis(N,N-diethylnicotinamide-κN1)bis(2,4,6-trimethylbenzoato-κO1)cobalt(II)

Gülçin Şefiye Aşkın; Hacali Necefoğlu; Safiye Özkaya; R. Çatak Çelik; Tuncer Hökelek

The CoII atom in the crystal structure of diaquabis(N,N-diethylnicotinamide)bis(2,4,6-trimethylbenzoato)cobalt(II) is located on an inversion centre and exhibits a slightly distorted octahedral N2O4 coordination set. Hydrogen bonds of the type O—H⋯O and C—H⋯O lead to the formation of a three-dimensional network.

Crystal structure of trans-diaquabis(nicotinamide-κN1)bis(4-nitrobenzoato-κO)manganese(II)

Gülçin Şefiye Aşkın; Hacali Necefoğlu; Ali Murat Tonbul; Nefise Dilek; Tuncer Hökelek

In the title centrosymmetric MnII complex, the MnII atom is coordinated by two 4-nitrobenzoate (NB) anions, two nicotinamide (NA) ligands and two water molecules; the NB and NA ligands act as monodentate ligands. The resulting MnN2O4 coordination polyhedron is a distorted octahedron.

Crystal structure of catena-poly[[diaquabis(4-formylbenzoato-κO1)cobalt(II)]-μ-pyrazine-κ2N:N′]

Gülçin Şefiye Aşkın; Fatih Çelik; Nefise Dilek; Hacali Necefoğlu; Tuncer Hökelek

The CoII atom in this one-dimensional coordination polymer, with aqua, 4-formylbenzoate and bridging pyrazine ligands, is located on a twofold rotation axis and has a slightly distorted octahedral coordination sphere. Strong intramolecular O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the water molecules to the carboxylate O atoms.

In the title salt, [Zn(C8H4NO2)(C6H6N2O)(H2O)3](C8H4NO2), intermolecular O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds link two of the coordinating water molecules to two free 4-cyanobenzoate anions. N—H⋯O, O—H⋯O and C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the molecular components, enclosing (12), (8) and (9) ring motifs and forming layers parallel to (001).

Crystal structure of catena-poly[[aquabis(4-formylbenzoato)-κ2O1,O1′;κO1-zinc]-μ-pyrazine-κ2N:N′]

Gülçin Şefiye Aşkın; Fatih Çelik; Nefise Dilek; Hacali Necefoğlu; Tuncer Hökelek

In the compound, [Zn(C8H5O3)2(C4H4N2)(H2O)]n, the pyrazine ligands bridge the ZnII cations, forming polymeric chains running parallel to the b-axis direction. Water–carboxylate O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds link adjacent chains into layers parallel to the bc plane. The layers are linked via weak pyrazine–formyl C—H⋯O and formyl–carboxylate C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds.
