Pengaruh Model Discovery Learning Berbantuan Media PhET Terhadap Hasil Belajar Fisika Peserta Didik Kelas XI SMAN 1 Kediri Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018

This research aimed to figure out the effect of discovery learning using PhET to the learning outcome in physics of the second-grade students in SMAN 1 Kediri Academic Year 2017/2018. This research was conducted as the result of experiment using non-equivalent control group design. The population of this research was the whole second-grade students in SMAN 1 Kediri. To limit the sample, surfeited sampling was applied consisting the students in class XI MS I as the experiment class and class MS II as the control class. Research instrument used was the multiple-choice test after the tests of validity, reliability, discrimination power, and difficulty level have been done. The increasing of the learning outcome was defined from the result of N-gain test per sub-chapter. The result of this research showed that the learning outcome of the students has increased to both classes. This proved that discovery learning method using PhET has succeeded in increasing the students’ learning outcome for Physics.

Pengaruh Pendekatan Konflik Kognitif Terhadap Penguasaan Konsep Fisika Peserta Didik

This research aimed at measure the effect of cognitive conflict approach on the mastery of physics concept of students. Cognitive conflict is an approach consisting of preliminary, conflict, and settlement phases. This quasi-experimental research uses non-equivalent group design. The population of this research was all XI IPA students of SMAN 6 Mataram in academic year 2017/2018. The sample was chosen using cluster random sampling, with XI IPA 1 as experiment class and XI IPA 2 as control class. The instrument used for concept mastery refers to students cognitive abilities ( C 1, C 2 , C 3, C 4, C 5, C 6 ). Hypothesis test using t pooled varians. The improvement of concept mastery is determined based on the results of the n-gain test. The results of research indicate the influence of cognitive conflict approach on the mastery of physics concept of students. In addition, the experimental class experienced an increased mastery concept higher than control class. This suggests the cognitive conflict approach applied successfully improves the mastery of the physics concepts of students, especially on sub material nature of material elasticity, Hooke law, and the arrangement of springs.

Laboratorium Virtual Fisika dan Implikasinya pada Penguasaan Konsep Optik Mahasiswa

Abstract: The laboratory has an important role in the learning of physics. Tools and materials are limited often used as an excuse for not doing the lab activities. In addition, the characteristics of the most abstract concepts of physics that cause difficulties in teaching it to students. In this research, we have developed several virtual experiments on the concept of optics. Besides as an alternative to the limited laboratory equipment in LPTK, is also intended as a visualization media of concepts to make it easier to understand by students. The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of a virtual laboratory to increase student’s mastery of optics concepts. This research includes research and development, which is divided into three stages: the preliminary study, model design, and testing models phase. The results showed that the virtual laboratory model effectively used in learning of physics. This is indicated by a higher increase in the mastery of the concept of the experimental class than the control class. The highest increase occurred in the concept of geometrical optics by 79.9%. Keywords: Virtual Laboratory, Mastery of Concepts, Optics Abstrak: Laboratorium memiliki peranan penting dalam pembelajaran fisika. Alat dan bahan yang terbatas sering dijadikan alasan untuk tidak melakukan kegiatan laboratorium. Selain itu, karakteristik sebagian konsep fisika yang abstrak menimbulkan kesulitan tersendiri dalam mengajarkannya kepada mahasiswa. Dalam penelitian ini, kami telah mengembangkan beberapa eksperimen virtual fisika pada konsep optik. Selain sebagai alternatif terbatasnya peralatan laboratorium di LPTK, juga dimaksudkan sebagai media visualisasi konsep agar lebih mudah dipahami mahasiswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menguji efektivitas laboratorium virtual terhadap peningkatan penguasaan konsep optik mahasiswa. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian pengembangan, yang dibagi menjadi 3 tahap, yaitu: tahap studi pendahuluan, tahap pengembangan desain, dan tahap pengujian model. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model laboratorium virtual efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran fisika. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh lebih tingginya peningkatan penguasaan konsep kelas eksperimen dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Peningkatan tertinggi terjadi pada konsep optik geometri sebesar 79.9%. Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Conceptual Understanding Procedures (CUPs) Berbantuan LKPD Terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Fisika

This study aims to determine the effect of learning model Conceptual Understanding Procedures LKPD assisted on the ability of solving physics problems of high school students. This research is a quasi experimental research using untreated control group design with pretest and posttest. The population is all students of class XI IPA SMAN 4 Mataram. While the sampling using purposive sampling technique consisting of students class XI IPA 4 as experimental class and students of class XI IPA 1 as a control class. The problem solving capability data is obtained through a written test in the form of a description item. The result of hypothesis test analysis shows that there is influence of learning model of LKPD-assisted Conceptual Understanding Procedures toward the ability of problem solving physics.

Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Assure dan Pengetahuan Awal Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPA-Fisika Siswa Kelas Viii SMPN 22 Mataram

This is an experimental research. This research aim to examine the effect of ASSURE learning model and prior knowledge on science learning outcome in class VIII of SMPN 22 Mataram. The population is entire students in class VIII SMPN 22 Mataram with VIIIB as experiment class and VIIIC as control class. Both divided into high and low prior knowldege group. This research use factorial design 2x2. Hypothesis test use two ways anava. We got that (1) learning model take significant effect on learning outcome that ASSURE model get higher score than konventional model, (2) prior knowledge take significant effect on learning out come that higher prior knowledge get higher score than the low one, and (3) there is no interaction between learning model and prior knowledge on learning outcome. N-Gain test shown that high prior knowledge of ASSURE class get most improvement result and low pior knowledge of conventional class get worst. It is better to continue this ASSURE learning model in research using another student characterictic analyze. High prior knowledge experiment class get improvement result in all sub-chapter. Low prior knowledge experiment class and high prior knowledge control class get most improvement in wave characteristic. Low prior knowledge control class get most improvement in vibration characteristic.

PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS DALAM MODEL PEMBELAJARAN GUIDED DISCOVERY UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA FISIKA PADA SISWA KELAS VIIA SMPN 8 MATARAM TAHUN AJARAN 2015/2016

The purposes of this research is to improve learning outcomes of students at SMPN 8 Mataram. This is a classroom action research with two cycles. Each cycles include planning, implementation, observation, evaluation and reflection. Implementation of guided discovery learning model made 5 phases: introduction, orientation of students on the issue, conducting, presenting and evaluating results. In the first cycle, obtained an average student learning outcomes at 74.82, while in the second cycle of 81.75. Classical mastery learning in the first cycle of 64.7% and in the second cycle of 86%. Activities of students and teachers that are in the active category. Based on these results it can be concluded that the application of guided discovery learning models with science process skills approach is proven to increase physics learning outcomes of students at SMPN 8 Mataram.

Computer technology can be used in learning assessment activities, commonly called e-assessment. Assessment is an important part of learning. This study aims to develop an e-assessment model using Leraning ma nagement System (LMS) based on M oodle. This development research uses DDD-E model, including decision, design, develop and evaluate. Development of e-assesement using Moodle 3.3 software. This model produces e-assessment products that can be accessed online and can help learners in evaluating their learning outcomes independently. In addition, this model also encourages motivation and problem solving in the given lesson.
