A complex waveform sequence synthesis method based on FPGA

This paper proposes a method of quick and large-capacity output of waveform under condition of limited hardware resource, that is, waveform sequence synthesis method. This method is mainly applied under the condition that the memory space is limited but it is required to carry out repeated output of one or several kinds of complex waveforms with bright features, such as the field of radar system, digital communications or electronic countermeasure.

Waveform synthesis method base on multi-path DDFS interleaving

A multi-path direct digital frequency synthesis (DDFS) parallel pseudo interleaving architecture is proposed. This architecture can increase sampling rate of DDFS and get higher output frequency by eliminating image components caused by sampling. Spectrum of multi-path DDFS is analyzed and compared with spectrum of single-path DDFS. A 500MSPS DDFS consists of two parallel 250MSPS path is designed and the output is discussed.
