Excitation functions have been measured for the dissipative products of 4 ≤ Z ≤ 12 in 19F8++45Sc reaction from 102 to 108 MeV by a step of 300 keV at θl = 42°. The energy coherence widths have been extracted and the dinuclear system lifetimes of the order of 10-21 s have been deduced by analysing the cross section fluctuations.

Abstract The performance of a ΔE − E telescope consisting of transmission silicon detector and CsI(Tl) scintillators with photodiode read out investigated in 46.7 MeV/u 12 C induced reaction. The zero-crossing technique of pulse shape analysis has been employed to identify the light charged particles (p, d, t, α) with a low energy threshold, and a detector array composed of nine elements of CsI(Tl) scintillators with photodiode readout have been developed to measure the light charged particle interferometry in intermediate energy heavy ion induced reaction.

Abstract The performances of a simple timing detector consisting of a thin plastic scintillator foil and an ellipsoidal mirror made of aluminium are investigated in intermediate energy heavy ion time-of-flight research. An intrinsic time resolution of about 140 ps has been measured for 25 MeV/u 40 Ar ions passing through 2.06 mg/cm 2 NE102A foil. Detection efficiency and light collection have been investigated. The dependence of the time resolution on the fluctuation of light yield has been caculated by a Monte Carlo method.
