Quasielastic nucleon and hyperon production by neutrinos and antineutrinos with energies below 30 GeV

vn \to \mu ^ - p,\bar vp \to \mu ^ + n,\bar vp \to \mu ^ + \Lambda

Results for neutral to charged current cross section ratios from ν and\(\bar v\) nucleus interactions below 30 GeV

were studied in the neutrino energy range between 3 and 30 GeV. In comparison withV-A theory axial mass parameters ofMA=(1.06±0.05±0.14) GeV/c2 from neutrino andMA=(0.71±0.10±0.20) GeV/c2 from antineutrino data were found. The total cross-section for the hyperon production process can be described byMA=1.0 GeV/c2.

Inclusive charged hadron spectra in νA and\(\bar v\)A interactions at\(E_{\begin{array}{*{20}c} {( - )} \\ v \\ \end{array} }< 30GeV\)

AbstractStudying the coherent diffractive production of pions in neutrino and antineutrino scattering off the nuclei of freon molecules we have observed for the first time in one experiment all three states of the isospin triplet of the axial part of the weak charged and neutral currents. A study ofv e −v μ universality and search for neutrino oscillations

.Comparing our data with theoretical predictions based on the standard model of weak interactions we find reasonable agreement. Independently from any model of coherent pion production we determine the isovector axial vector coupling constant to be |β|=0.99±0.20.
