Sampling control on collaborative flocking motion of discrete-time system with time-delays

Sampling control of multi-rate for flocking motion is researched in this paper. For discrete-time multi-agent systems with communication delays, a distributed sampling control protocol applying individual local information is proposed. Basing on Lyapunov stability theory, a energy function is designed, and collaborative flocking motion of multi-agent systems is studied. Finally, simulation examples show the effectiveness of the proposed multi-rate sampling protocol.

Numerical calculation and analysis of 3D transient temperature field for transverse flux tubular linear machine

This paper investigates the thermal characteristics of the transverse flux tubular linear motor, including numerical calculation and temperature rise in the continuous reciprocating motion. Firstly, it estimates the various components of heat sources i.e. electromagnetic losses, including core loss in the stator as well as copper loss and eddy-current losses in the mover, and then presents the heat parameters according to the convective heat exchanges. Secondly, it establishes numerical model of the three-dimensional for the transient temperature field in transverse flux tubular linear motor. The validity of the numerical analysis is proved by the temperature rise in the continuous reciprocating motion test.
