In recent years, the government has attached great importance to Four-Meter Unified Project. Under the call of national policy, State Grid is participate in building Four-Meter Unified Project actively by making use of electricity information acquisition system. In this paper, a new type Smart-Meter data acquisition device based on Cloud Platform is designed according to the newest series of standards Energy Measure and Management System for Electric, Water, Gas and Heat Meter, and this paper introduces the general scheme, main hardware design and main software design for the Smart-Meter data acquisition device.

Analysis on the measures employed to deal with abnormal faults of intelligent electric meters

All kinds of faults would occur during the operation of the intelligent electric meter including burnt-out electric meter; black screen; voltage loss; communication fault; battery fault; display malfunction and relay malfunction. In this paper, two kinds of abnormal faults encountered by the author during work are listed for research and analysis so as to propose measures for dealing with these two kinds of faults as well as provide useful suggestions for future work.

Research on the Secondary Interface of Electronic Transformers in Smart Substation

According to the requirements of smart substation metering system, a digital interface based on IEC 61850 specification is given, then the functional model of the merging unit is discussed. Meanwhile, according to the actual situation, the author proposes an analog output interface, in order to fit with traditional substation secondary equipment. Then the solution based on TMS320F28335 digital control platform is described, for which the voltage control module of the software and hardware circuits are discussed in detail. The experimental data shows that the proposed merging unit and analog voltage output interface can meet the accuracy standard of electronic transformer in the smart substation.

Research on the Impact of Power Grid Harmonic on Energy Meter and its Solution Methods

This paper presents a power consumption model with harmonics existing in power system, the influence of harmonic linear load and the influence of nonlinear load energy metering is discussed, then the analysis of the impact of the harmonic of induction watt-hour meter and electronic watt-hour meter measurement features is given. In the next part, the measurement principle of harmonic watt-hour meter is introduced, and a new type of electric energy metering scheme based on harmonic watt-hour meter is given, so that the electric energy metering fairness problem caused by power grid harmonic will be solved effectively.

Research on the power utilization strategy of smart power community integrated with micro-grid system

This paper presents the key technology used in smart power community with an introduction into the background, concept and characteristics of smart power community. The modeling and simulation of micro-grid system are conducted to identify the proper control strategy to reach its ideal state. Then the load of smart power community is classified and efficient power utilization strategy is proposed.

Research on the Digital Metering System and Verification Method of Digital Electrical Energy Meter

The digital energy metering system applied in the smart substation are quite different from the traditional meter system, so its nessary to do some research on the digital metering system. With comparing the digital metering systems to traditional metering system, the application structure and characteristics of digital metering system is discussed, the traceability model of the digital electrical energy meter based on IEC 61850 protocol is also given.In the next part,we designed the verification system for digital energy meter, besides the standard digital power source in the test device, calibration device and the general controller are expounded. The performance of the verification system designed in this article shows that the method could be an effective solution to the verification and traceability of digital energy meter.
