Abstract 1. 1. Five additional cases of basal-cell carcinoma of the vulva are presented, bringing the total number of reported cases to 65. 2. 2. The average age in this collective series, where age is recorded, was 63 years. 3. 3. There seems to be no direct relationship between leucoplakia and basal-cell carcinoma in the vulva as is noted with squamous-cell carcinoma in this region. 4. 4. Recurrent episodes of pruritus, ulceration, and bleeding were characteristic and the delay in seeking·medical attention was thus prolonged.

Abstract A case of adrenal rest tumor of the ovary, occurring in a colored female and associated with marked changes of defeminization and masculinization, is presented. Surgical removal of the tumor produced regression of most of the signs and symptoms. The patient, when last heard from, over three years after operation, was enjoying good health.
