Internet video broadcasting intends to allow a video playback simultaneously by many users in a network. Most available approaches are limited to a fixed play time for all nodes in the network, e.g. live stream of a sport event. However, when a user joins after the video has started, he will not be able to view content from the beginning. This paper a buffer management for Internet video broadcasting is proposed, which has a mixed characteristics of live-video streaming and video-on-demand. The proposed model is based on an application layer MESH network, which allows any user to join the network at any point of time and to view any part of the video stream. Therefore, the buffer of the previous users are used. By exchanging buffer maps, a new node can find users who have the needed parts of the stream, and can use them as a source for download. Furthermore, This work proposes a design of buffer management, sliding window and scheduling which help bounding the starting and playback delay. There are two scheduling approaches: sequential and rarest-first which help the node to find the remaining of the video stream. The rarest-first scheduling will help to prevent the frame losses because of a leaving server or leaving partners.

Recently, the travel guides have become an important tool to support tourists around the world. The tourists will search the tourist attraction and travel information from the book, brochure or website. In this paper, the searching application for Southern Thailand Travel Guide on iPhone is proposed. The proposed application is developed to search for travel guide information on different provinces of the Southern Thailand. The searching application function is divided into two modes: online and offline mode. The language can be displayed in two languages: Thai and English language. This paper presents the design and implementation by using Apples iOS Software Development Kit. The results show that the tourists can search tourist attraction including history, picture, address, phone number, website, map and travel detail. The maps can show the current location of the users. In addition, these maps can display in three modes: standard, satellite and hybrid. Overall information on tourist attraction can be shared on Facebook, Twitter and E-mail. The proposed application is better support for the foreign tourists and Thai tourists that they are used iPhone mobile.

Currently, many E-Learning platforms of different qualities are available. Most of them lack in the direct interactivity between teacher and students and among students. In this paper, a framework of virtual classroom model on the Internet is proposed. It connects the advantages of existing offline approaches, like a white board, with the advantages of live streaming systems with many participants. The architecture of virtual classroom on the Internet is composed of three processes: functions and protocol classification process, client/server sequential process and collaborative functions for lecturer and student process. The model bases up on four main technologies: the flash media server architecture, the RTMP protocol, client-server connection flows and shared objects. The concept has been implemented and tested in some classes with international participants. The results show that the students can immediately interact with lecturers as though they are studying in real classroom. The lecturer and students can publish streaming audio, video and other data messages to present streaming media with interaction or navigation. The virtual classroom is interesting place for lecturers and students to join and become the most important feature of E-Learning web sites that makes more attractive and complete E-Learning system.

In this paper, the web-based virtual classroom system model based on asynchronous and synchronous learning is proposed. The system model is provided tools for lecturers and learners to enhanced features for collaboration and interaction among participants in a web-based virtual classroom. The web-based virtual classroom system model is defined by combination of both asynchronous and synchronous learning functions. The asynchronous learning function consists of contents, upload and download documents, webboard, e-mail and video on demand (VoD). The synchronous learning function is composed of chat room, video conference room, whiteboard room, presentation room and people list. The results show that lecturers and learners are participated in a web-based virtual classroom. A proposed model is better support for personal participation and cognitive participation. This model can improve the convenience and flexibility of scheduling and learning time.
