Parallel rules based classifier using DNA strand displacement for multiple molecular markers detection

The detection of molecular markers such as micro ribonucleic acid (miRNA) expression levels in the cells are essential for diagnosis of a disease, especially cancer. Recently, a huge amount of molecular markers on cell is being extracted by single molecular detection method, as results, excessively detection process and time is required. Meanwhile DNA computing has capabilities to interact with biological nucleic acids and massively parallel processing, we propose parallel rule-based classifier using DNA strand displacement reaction as method of detecting multiple molecular markers. Two DNA reaction of parallel sensing and encoding system of the IF-THEN rules have been developed in our proposed model. In this paper, we compared between the proposed method and the AND gate method for the classification result. Moreover, based on the simulation results show that our method is possible as an alternative solution for the programmable fast big molecular markers detection and diagnosis.

PEMETAAN POSDAYA DI KABUPATEN SEMARANG DENGAN SISTEM INFORMASI GEOGRAFIS BERBASIS SCALABLE VECTOR GRAPHICS (SVG)

Posdaya (Pos Pemberdayaan Keluarga) is a public institution that aims to empower families. The initiator of Posdaya is Damandiri Foundation which implemented through the activities of Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) in various universities, one of them is UNDIP. Up till now, the result of KKN UNDIP Posdaya is only represented by written reports each semester so that the development Posdaya can’t be monitored accurately and openly. Utilization of information technology, Internet, and integration using geographic side could be a solution to ease data exchange. The geographical side was handled by SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics), an application of XML (eXtensible Markup Language) used to represent graphic information in a compact and portable form. Waterfall model was used to develop the software. This undergraduate thesis produced web-based GIS (Geographical Information System) that can display mapping of Posdaya in every village in the district of Semarang based on SVG. Through GIS, LPM can view and control the development of Posdaya overall, as well as promote the potential of the area to the public.

PENERAPAN ATURAN IF-THEN UNTUK MENANGANI KETIDAKPASTIAN PERUBAHAN LINGKUNGAN PADA VEHICLE ROBOT LEGO

Perkembangan teknologi di bidang robotika telah menjadi perhatian yang cukup serius dalam beberapa tahun terakhir. Salah satu jenis robot dengan kemampuan istimewa yaitu robot mobil. Masalah utama robot ketika beroperasi adalah bagaimana robot dapat bergerak pada lintasan yang sesuai dan dengan cepat sampai pada tujuan. Pada tulisan ini di coba mendesain algoritma If-Then rule yang di implementasikan pada Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) , dengan input 3 sensor ultrasonik dan 2 output yaitu arah sudut dan kecepatan robot, kemudian dilihat kemampuan robot dalam bergerak pada lintasan yang berbelok. Dari hasil yang diperoleh robot mampu bergerak melintas pada lintasan lurus dan belok, tetapi robot tidak mampu berada pada bagian tengah lintasan, hal ini disebabkan karena algoritma If-Then yang digunakan hanya mendeteksi input sensor yang masih sedikit dan respon robot yang lambat.
