Virtual Modeling and Optimal Design of Intelligent Micro-accelerometers

Recently, we observe rapid growth of methodologies and their applications in creating 3D virtual object structures. The aim of this paper is to carry out the solid modeling ensures better flexibility of the software in creating the 3D structures of intelligent Micro-ElectroMechanical ( MEMS ). This paper deals with modelling of 3D structure of surface micromachined accelerometers. Keeping knowledge about predefined accelerometer structure we start optimisa-tion procedure exploiting deterministic optimisation technique.

3D computer field model of power transformer-magnetic field and power losses computation

The paper presents the computer (discrete) model of the tank structure of the high power transformer. This transformer model is created as 3D geometry of the core, windings and tank as well. Obtained results of electromagnetic fields distributions and losses in the tank by means of computations with assumptions made for simplified designs, especially geometry, are not satisfactory even for rough estimation. The paper presents the methodology of the model generation for the full geometry of the transformer. The electromagnetic field analysis leads to the identification of the points with high dense losses in the structure. The field and losses distribution computation is essential for further research leading to the design of magnetic or electromagnetic screens. In the screens designing procedure it is so important defining the screens positions on the tank, then consequently the structure, and reducing the total losses in the whole transformer structure.

System card courses under ECTS programme at Technical University of Lodz

The paper presents the assumptions and the introduction of the ECTS system at the Technical University of Lodz. Presents the design and implementation of the System Card Courses under ECTS. Work describes the different functionality of the system and their solutions. In the system developed an abstract database layer that allows the system to work with various databases and data caching for filling out forms (as a solution to the authors).

The paper presents a modern data acquisition techniques and techniques of the data processing obtained by corporations and financial institutions. It also presents the data flow process from the beginning (moment of obtaining the data) to the final results of the calculations and knowledge. It presents an developed application that allows users to quickly and effectively reporting information from the system and assists in decision-making in all aspects of the organization by its employees as a staff adviser to the ending of management.
