This paper puts a skin color model which is based on YCbCr Gauss model and KL Transform carried on face detection. The region model and the simple Gauss model of the skin color are established in the KL color space and the YCbCr color space according to clustering. Skin regions are separated from non-skin regions by the optimal threshold which is obtained by an adaptive algorithm. Then the segmentation result of the region model is used to eliminate the influence of the likely-skin in the Gauss-likelihood image. Afterwards, the binary image is dealt with morphology processing to eliminate the noise. Finally, in order to locate the face, the obtained regions of skin color are screened out with simple detection algorithm based on prior knowledge. The experiment indicates that the proposed algorithm performs well in face detection in complex background, many faces or profile. The algorithm is of fast response, high accuracy and adapts to video surveillance.

With the modernizing lifestyle, more and more amusements and sports could be done indoor. The time people spend in indoor activities accounts for eighty percent. Air quality indoor has a great effect on human health. At present, widely used environmental monitoring equipment in the market is designed only to monitor environment, not support such appliances as humidifier and air purifier. Therefore, it is impossible to improve the quality of environment according to the results from real-time environmental monitoring equipment. Based on this requirement, the intelligent environmental monitoring equipment designed in this paper not only help people be well aware of environmental parameter whenever necessary but also provide extended interfaces for other devices. With these extended interfaces, the control for other household equipments would be achieved (switch in, switch off and adjusting). Then the air quality would be always excellent indoor.

As the widely application of digital multi-media technology, H.264 has become one of the most popular video standards for its better performance. This paper proposes optimization methods of the x264 decoder which is an implementation algorithm of H264 based on DaVinci Technology, especially including taking advantage of the DMA resource and cache optimization strategy in purpose for memory access. We choose TMS320DM6446 as our platform which is a DaVinci-based multi-core processor. The results show that the optimized x264 decoder can process in real-time without any loss of performance.

Electronic medical record can greatly improve work efficiency of the hospital and medical quality in the clinical application. Meanwhile with the rapid development of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technology, peoples life will adopt a new way. In this paper, Electronic medical record system (EMRS) based on augmented reality is proposed. The system consists of server, Android device and data glove. User can not only check the relevant medical information on the Android device, but also operate the 3D organ model based on AR through gestures. In addition, users can also wear AR/VR glasses and data gloves to operate the 3D organ model in order to get a stronger sense of immersion. Through this system, we can show more pathological information, which can not only help the communication between doctors and patients, but also can be used in medical teaching.

Nowadays, the LED industry has witnessed an ever-growing development. LED intelligent lighting system, which is highly-efficient, environment-friendly, intelligent, and user-friendly, has become a new trend in the lighting industry. Formed by LED lamps, wireless sensor network needs a large amount of nodes. To realize its IP, a large number of IP addresses are needed. But the wireless sensor network is not compatible with IPv6, which contains lots of address resources. The design and implementation of IPv6 node based on the protocol of 6LoWPAN will be first illustrated in this paper. IPv6node uses CC2530 as the hardware core, and combines with LED constant-current drive circuit. The software part applies Contiki, an open-source operating system, adopts ZigBee Cluster Library as the application, blends uIPv6 protocol stack and 6LoWPAN technology to achieve the compatibility between IPv6 and IEEE 802.15.4, and connects the IPv6 nodes by using RPL router protocol so as to form a wireless lighting network based on IPv6. Then the design of the gateway node used to convert IPv4 protocol and IPv6 protocol will be introduced in the paper. It applies CC2538 microcontroller and make possible the frequent transceiver of wireless radio. Then the paper introduces the design and implementation of network communication module and the interface and function module on the Android interface through the appliance of the IPv4 control node.

A design scheme of wireless data transmission system is presented, which adopts Nuvoton N32926 embedded microprocessor as the system controller and RT-Thread embedded operation system is used. This paper describes the compiling and transplanting of TI CC3100 device driver, such that the system can send the data to CC3100 via the N32926 SPI interface. Finally, the description of how the system accomplishes the reception and transmission of data by the RF module of CC3100. This paper introduces the structure of the system framework and the realization of wireless transmission module.

Human face detection plays an important role in applications such as secure access, video surveillance. In view of the poor detection rate and low speed of the detection for faces in profile view, pose varied and complex background, this paper proposes the KL-Gaussian Model algorithm in YCbCr color space for face detection, which is designed and implemented on the TMS320DM6437 platform. Furthermore, to develop the DSP platform advantage, the optimization scheme for our designed face detection system is proposed. The result shows that the performance of the system is good with high detection rate and good robustness in the condition that faces with different poses and angles, which is significant to the intelligent development of video surveillance system.

H.264 is well known as best video codec ever. And mediastreamer2 is an open-source software to make audio and video real-time streaming and processing. Written in pure C, it is based upon the ortp library. This paper presents the method of how to implement h.264 video streams transfer based on mediastreamer2. In the end we show the actual performance of our system.

Currently, the mediastreamer2 contains internal support for G.711u, G.711a, speex and gsm. However, it does not contain internal support for the popular G.729, which is known as the best audio codec ever. In this paper, we present the method of how to implement a G.729 codec filter on mediastreamer2. Then, we evaluate the performance of the G.729 filter in our platform. The experimental results show that our implementation of G.729 codec on mediastreamer2 is successful on the whole.
