In this paper we consider the polling system with multiple vacations an bulk arrival using M-gated services in continuous time. By the imbedded Markov chain theory, the generating functions of queue length at the station is obtained. Then computational equations are explicitly determined for the mean queue length. Especially we can obtain some corresponding results under some especial cases. The results reveal that our system model can guarantee better QoS and system stability, and it has better efficiency than that of traditional gated service.

This paper presents a protocol to improve traditional CSMA protocol: DP-CSMA/CA protocol. In this paper, it is used in the design of WSN communication system based on FPGA. By using the method of the averaging period, we give the throughput parameters of this improved system. Simulation results confirmed that the DP-CSMA/CA protocol improves the system performance. The FPGA design is also effective to improve the performance of module in WSN. We completed the design of system based on DP-CSMA with FPGA. The test results show that: throughput are improved, packet collision is reduced, and channel utilization is improved in different load. This system has the features of simple circuit, high reliability, and programmable upgraded.

This paper presents a new use of polling system[1] in the intelligent traffic light control system[2]. vehicle arrival rate is measured in this system.Through the relationship between arrival rate and waiting time in polling system, achieved an technology that different arrival rate correspond to different length of time[3] of traffic light. With the intelligent control, we can well solve the problem of traffic jams during different periods.

In this paper, we propose P-detection and 1-Persistent CSMA/CA protocol. Using average cycle method, we established the mathematical model of the protocol. Through derivation, we obtain the throughput expression of this protocol. Simulation results show that this protocol improves the throughput and it is effective to enhance the system performance. Using this protocol, we completed the FPGA design of communication control system in WSN. The product passed waveform simulation and it is downloaded to the DB2 platform. Test results confirm the throughput of system has been increased, achieving the improvement of communication protocol for WSN.

This paper presents a new wireless sensor network MAC protocol: the probability detection CSMA protocol with monitoring function based on the improved binary tree conflict resolution algorithm. By using the average cycle method, the paper gets the mathematical expressions of the throughput, system average delay of the probability detection CSMA protocol with monitoring function and the probability detection CSMA protocol with monitoring function based on the improved binary tree conflict resolution algorithm through complicated mathematical modeling, rigorous mathematical derivation. The computer simulation results not only confirm the correctness of the theoretical analysis but also show that the probability detection CSMA protocol with monitoring function based on the improved binary tree conflict resolution algorithm due to adding to the conflict resolution algorithm, resulting in the increases of systemic throughput but increase the time delay of the system.

The transformation of loss rate analysis for the Bi-directional cable TV network is becoming more and more important. In this paper, the authors employ the double queue single server system to the information of Bi-directional cable TV network in the analysis of information packet. The information of Bi-directional cable network packets are calculated and analyzed theoretically and the loss rate of the information packet is also simulated by computer in this paper. Simulation results show that the theoretical analysis and simulation are consistent. And the network of Bi-directional information packet using double queue single server modeling of cable television in the transformation of loss rate analysis provides reference to the theoretical analysis and computer simulation.

From the point of view to improve QoS of Ad Hoc network, this paper analyses the problem about mobile nodes in Ad Hoc network and decides to solve the problem by designing effective MAC protocol. Therefore, a novel random multi-access protocol using Binary Tree Collision Resolution for collision packets in Probability-Persistent Random Multi-Access (IBTCRPP-CSMA) is proposed. The throughput of IBTCRPP-CSMA and computer simulation experiments are obtained. Simulation results agree with theoretical analysis. By contrasts of throughputs among several CSMA protocols, IBTCRPP-CSMA has higher throughput and channel utilization, thereby ensuring the system’s high QoS.

For the implementation of digital multimedia communication, an efficient, reliable, deterministic transmission system plays a vital role. Quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) is commonly used in digital communication systems. We focuses on simulation and analysis of M-level QAM by using MATLAB in this paper.

This paper mainly analyzes a type of wireless sensor network MAC protocol based on probability function detection with random multi-access protocol to ensure a higher systemic throughput and stability by using channel load equilibrium. By using the average cycle method, we get the mean waiting time of information packet, the formulas of performance index of the systemic throughput, and the life cycle of node through mathematical derivation strictly. At last, gives the simulation results.
