San Xing Zhang; Yi Nan Zheng; Yan Qing Li; Hai Bin Xu; Hong Xia Zhang; Cheng Yan Zhu

The subject of interwoven fabric for trial used new environment acrylic fiber with different fiber materials. The warp thread of fabric has two groups, one group of 111.1dtex/36 polyester and the other group of 194.88dtex/ polyester/ rayon (80/20). Weft of raw materials can be categorized to seven kinds of blended yarn. A total of 24 experimental small sample trials were tested. 6 wear ability analyses of breathable, anti-wrinkle, anti-pilling, drape, stiffness and warmth of fabric were done. And reached some conclusions.

In order to develop the multi-functional high-end apparel fabrics, the paper used materials, organization, patterns and colors to achieve a reasonable design to make cool fabrics, and when using Honeycomb UV fiber/ Tencel/ honeycomb jade fiber (50/30/20) blended yarn and machine warp density is 40 root/cm, weft density is 33 root/cm, fabrics havemost cool nature. This project combined with todays Fabric trends and used a sense of cool colors such as green and blue, has designed cool multifunctional composite high-end fabrics and showed the appearance of cool fabrics more comprehensively in the form of clothing simulation results.

To study functionality of coffee yarn knitted clothing fabrics, use five different proportion of coffee yarn: 70% viscose/30% coffee yarn; 67.5% viscose/32.5% coffee yarn; 65% viscose/35% coffee yarn; 62.5% viscose/37.5% coffee yarn; 60% viscose/40% coffee yarn, knit five kinds of fabrics on computerized flat knitting machine.Test and analysis odor removal performance, hygroscopic, heat accumulation function of trial fabrics. The results show that: to coffee yarn and viscose blended knitted fabrics, along with coffee yarn content increases, the odor removal rate of the fabric has increased significantly, the fabric hygroscopic enhance, better performance of heat accumulation. 40% coffee yarn content of the fabric has a good heat accumulation.

Lei Yang; D.M. Yu; X.F. Chen; S.C. Zhang; Hong Xia Zhang

This research use a reasonable mix of materials and the structures to achieve highly shading performance of curtain fabrics. Choosing jacquard double layers structure and black passee as layer parallel with ratio of 2:1:1. Meanwhile, the thesis puts forward a pattern of the shading curtain fabrics. It has two series of color, the spring & the summer color and the autumn & winter color. To show the matching effect of the curtains, photos of indoor simulation by 3DMAX has made. Then the pattern samples were woven. Shading performance of samples were tested and analyzed. Finally a product simulation curtains were produced. Through the test of fabric shading, the shading rate is over 98%, which proves that they have good shading performance. And the average shading rate is over 99.4% which meet the full shading standard.

Hong Xia Zhang; Xian Xian Wu; Rong Tao; Cheng Yan Zhu; Jian Wei Bi

In order to study the influence of factors on the released anion concentration, the factors include the fiber content of negative oxygen ions, warp and weft density, organizational structure and friction time. Fabrics for A and B series were blended with modified polyester negative oxygen ions fiber and viscose fiber in different blending ratio. The released anion concentration were tested and analyzed. From the test results, following conclusions can be gotten. 1) In the same circumstance of other process conditions, with increasing of negative oxygen ions fiber content, the released anion concentration increased; 2) The honeycomb weave fabric B5 released the highest anion concentration in the other same process conditions, while plain weave fabric B1 released the least concentration; 3) More negative oxygen ions were produced when the warp and weft density were greater; 4) As the time of friction increased, the released anion concentration of fabric was increased until it reached a stable value; 5) Organizational structure had a great effect on releasing anion concentration through friction between woven fabric of negative oxygen ions and other knitted fabric. When the organization structure had bumpy effect, it was more conducive to release negative oxygen ions.

Hong Xia Zhang; Jin Bo Huang; Cheng Yan Zhu; Wei Tian; Yan Qing Li; Zhong Xiang Pan

In order to further study anti-bacterial properties and the influence of different content of photocatalyst fibers on the anti-bacterial properties, the photocatalyst and bamboo fiber were blended with different proportions and series of fabric samples were selected in the experiments. Shock method was used for the fabric samples which the anti-bacterial properties were tested and analyzed. Test results showed that, the inhibition of bacterial function is better for textiles woven with fibers of photocatalyst modification. When the fiber content of photocatalyst is 40% in the fabric, the inhibitory rate of the fabric can be reached to 86%, and can provide a theoretical basis for the future development of anti-bacterial fabrics.

Hong Xia Zhang; Rong Tao; Wei Tian; Yan Lu; Cheng Yan Zhu; Jian Qiang Xie

In order to study the influence of anti-mite and antibacterial fibers content on the anti-mite property of fabrics, yarns of antibacterial moisture absorption & perspiration elimination fibers, photocatalytic moisture absorption & perspiration elimination fibers and their blended yarns with hemp fiber, bamboo fiber, Tencel, cotton fiber were selected, and six sets of samples were manufactured. The anti-mite properties of these six fabrics were tested with the repellent method and analyzed, the relationship between the content of these two anti-mite and antibacterial fibers and the anti-mite property of fabrics was obtained. The experimental results indicated that with the content of anti-mite and antibacterial fibers increasing, the anti-mite property of fabrics improved gradually. When the content of antibacterial moisture absorption & perspiration elimination fiber was 100%, the repellent rate of the fabric for dust mite was 80.51%; when the ratio of photocatalytic moisture absorption & perspiration elimination fiber and bamboo fiber in fabric was 65/35, the repellent rate of the fabric for dust mite reached to 82.05%, the two kinds of fabrics both owned better anti-mite performance. The conclusions from this research can be used as a reference to design and develop fabrics for home textiles with better anti-mite effect and comfortability.

Hong Xia Zhang; Yan Lu; Cheng Yan Zhu; Wei Tian; Yan Qing Li

To study the relationship between the content of silver-plated fibers in fabrics and the antibacterial performance of fabrics, five sets of samples with common polyester yarns and silver-plated polyamide yarns were manufactured for the experiment; a qualitative antibacterial test with flask-shaking method was performed and compared for fabrics with different content of silver-plated fibers. The results show that the fabrics with silver-plated fibers have good antibacterial effect, and the bacterial inhibition rate will be improved as the content of silver-plated fibers increasing. When the content of silver-plated fibers is 3.6%, the bacterial inhibition rate for coli form will reach to 76.92%, when the content of silver-plated fibers is higher than 11.99%, the fabrics have better antibacterial property for coli form and the bacterial inhibition rate is higher than 99%.
