Modeling and Analysis of Polling System with M-Gated Services

Hongwei Ding; Dongfeng Zhao; Yifan Zhao

An efficient polling system with M-gated services is considered. The system consists of N stations, the packets of the station have been provided with M-gated services in continuous time. By the Embedded Markov Chain Theory and the Probability Generating Function method, we derived the closed form expressions for the mean queue length, the mean cyclic period characteristics of the system, and the analytical results are verified through simulations. The results reveal that our system model can guarantee better QoS and system stability, and it has better efficiency than that of traditional gated service.

Yifan Zhao; Shengjie Zhou; Hongwei Ding; Shaowen Yao; Zhijun Yang; Qianlin Liu

The CSMA/CA protocol is the most widely-compete agreement used by a network. Therefore, MAC layer of cognitive radio networks mostly use the CSMA/CA protocol to provide the competitive channel resources. Due to the unique characteristics and related needs of the cognitive radio networks, design their network protocol is a critical task. For its characteristics, design and implement a comprehensive CSMA/CA protocol, including arrival rate control, priority services, monitoring, conflict resolution and increased throughput; elaborated protocol model, system throughput and other parameters, demonstrates the correctness of the CSMA/CA protocol; comparison with other protocols, highlighting the advantages of the agreement.

In this paper, we propose the model of applying in forest fire prevention system for WSN of polling system with vacations and using gated services. By the imbedded Markov chain theory and the generating functions, mean queue length and mean waiting time of information packet at the sensor node are obtained. We present that increasing wireless sensors lifetime is valid in WSN of Polling System with Vacations and Using Gated Services. We present also great meaning of applying the model in forest fire prevention.

The information society is the inevitable trend of today’s development. In order to ensure the efficient and stable work of the system, it is necessary to improve the channel utilization to ensure the quality of service. Because of the existence of time delay and many other factors, the system will inevitably collide with information and conflict decomposition arises at the historic moment. This paper focuses on the analysis of the isolated tri-tree and the improved tri-tree conflict decomposition to improve the throughput of the system as much as possible to meet our daily needs.

Energy Consumption Analysis of Multi-channel CSMA Protocol Based on Dual Clock Probability Detection

Zhi Xu; Hongwei Ding; Zhijun Yang; Liyong Bao; Longjun Liu; Shaojing Zhou

In the era of Internet of Things, it is necessary to have a strong ability to transmit information, but the transmission capacity needs to have enough energy resources to support. The Multichannel dual clock probability detection CSMA protocol is proposed. The paper use average cycle analysis method and Newton solution of nonlinear equation to build mathematical model, and the system throughput and energy consuption can be obtained. The final experiment shows that the simulation value is consistent with the theoretical value. The new CSMA protocol has higher throughput; while the network energy consumption is low, it is an excellent communication protocol.

Although two-dimensional probability random multiple access protocol can have a better control effect on the system, it features a single agreement, the practical application of the network is not strong. To solve the above problem, the model of multichannel dual clocks two-dimensional probability random access protocol with three-way handshake mechanism (DMTPTH protocol) is proposed. DMTPTH is based on the two-dimensional probability random access model, adding dual-clock, multichannel and three-way handshake mechanism, respectively, to achieve lower system idle rate, confirm the multiservice access and information transmission states. Theoretical analysis and simulation experiments show that the model can not only improve system throughput, but also achieve throughput by changing the two-dimensional probability adapt to different network environments, enhanced agreement practicality, and reliability.

The Application of the Two Levels of Priority Exhaustive Service Polling Control Theory in Intelligent Traffic System

Zhuguan Liang; Jiayu Zhong; Mengyao Wang; Ruixue Du; Hongwei Ding

This paper presents a new use of two levels of priority exhaustive service polling control system in the intelligent traffic light control system. High priority will be set in main road and low priority be set in minor road. Compared to main road and minor road, because of the priority service policies the mean waiting time of the vehicles in the main road are shorter than the minor road’s, and the road capacity is improved. With the intelligent control, we can well solve the problem of traffic jams during different periods.

Longjun Liu; Hongwei Ding; Qianlin Liu; Weifeng Zhang; Zhenggang Liu

Anti-interference ability is an important index to evaluate the physical fitness of communication system. Compared with general wireless communication systems, the DS/FH Hybrid spread spectrum system has high security and strong ability of anti-interception. This paper presents a design of DS/TH hybrid spread spectrum system based on FPGA. In the design, direct spread spectrum and frequency hopping spread spectrum of the input data is modulated by the spreading code. In the receiver, the pseudo random sequence is used to despread spread spectrum signal after capturing the sync signal. The simulation of the system is implemented by the combination of the hardware circuit description language Verilog HDL and the principle diagram on Quartus II software in the design.

Longjun Liu; Hongwei Ding; Qianlin Liu; Weifeng Zhang

According to the present situation of the application of frequency hopping system, the existence question and the characteristic of the frequency hopping,time hopping system, based on the thought of complementary advantages and disadvantages, this paper puts forward a hybrid spread spectrum. It is to combine two kinds of spread spectrum with frequency hopping and time hopping to constitute a FH/TH hybrid spread spectrum system. We have conducted simulation and FPGA implementation for the FH/TH hybrid spread spectrum system and verify the validity of the design system. Keywords—FH/TH; hybrid spread spectrum; simulation;

Zhi Xu; Yifan Zhao; Hongwei Ding; Shengjie Zhou; Longjun Liu

In wireless sensor networks, traffic load moment node are changing ;the basis of CSMA protocol for idle channels not do effectively. To address this problem, analysis the lack of basic CSMA protocol, in order to improve the utilization of CSMA protocol idle, we come up with a new protocol which is the double clock P detection CSMA random multiple access protocol. Using the average cycle[1] approach to protocol analysis, and finally got the mathematical expression of system throughput. Final simulation results show the advantage of dual clock random probability of detection CSMA multiple access protocol , make full use of channels idle , and this agreement can remain relatively stable throughput at a high load.
