This paper investigates the F span of the rows of an incidence matrix of a finite projective plane. Results are obtained on the dimension and minimum weight (in the sense of algebraic coding theory) of both this span and its orthogonal.

Modeling and simulation in the VLSI environment

This paper discusses the use of APL to model VLSI chips as part of an initial design. Starting as a data flow, the design is partitioned and sliced into functional units that can be contained within a VLSI chip. By linking these APL models together, it is possible to simulate the overall implementation and find critical paths.
