The paper established mathematical model of inverted pendulum system, based on the elaborate mechanical analysis. According linear quadratic optimal control theory, the paper put forward an Linear Quadratic Regulator(LQR) for the system. The simulation result shows that the inverted pendulum system with the state feedback matrix can realize the pendulum angle and the carriage position stabilization control. In addition, the real-time control of the pendulum has been accomplished successfully based on the real-time control model built in Simulink. The result of real-time control experiment is simular to the simulation, which also validated the correctness of the theoretical analysis and the rightness of the computer simulation. In addition, comparison analysis between the simulation and real-time control experiment is carried out.

This paper gives a research in ear identification. After giving an introduction about Independent Components Analysis (ICA), the paper put forward an improved Kernel Independent Components Analysis (KICA) which can be described as a combination of KPCA and ICA to extract features, And use Support Vector Machine (SVM) with Gaussian radial basis function (GRBF) for ear classification. The experiments results show the method in the paper gives a high recognition rate compared to ICA method.

Based on the test bed which had already been built, a series of practical experiments have been carried out to study the impact of IEEE 802.1P on real-time behavior of switched industrial Ethernet. Comparing the experimental results with the theoretical analysis, we can find the deficiency of theoretical analysis and then perfect them. The experiments also show many problems would be happen, when IEEE 802.1P is applied to the switched industrial Ethernet. The main potential problem is the interference between the different priority levels message. Abnormity processing would happen when the port is overloading and lower priority packets blocks higher priority packets delivery. Accordingly the experiments would direct the theoretical analysis and practical improvement of industrial Ethernet.
