An Efficient Architecture of 1024-bits Cryptoprocessor for RSA Cryptosystem Based on Modified Montgomery's Algorithm

Hu Zhengbing; R.M. Al Shboul; V.P. Shirochin

In this paper, a new architecture using only one carry save adder (CSA) was proposed to implement modular multiplication based on the modified Montgomery modular multiplication algorithm. It can improve the time efficiency of RSA cryptoprocessor and save about half of hardware resources for modular multiplication. With the increase of encryption data size n, the time of the encryption procedure is about n clock cycles which compared with the modular multiplication algorithm using two CSA.

Vasyl Yatskiv; Nataliya Yatskiv; Su Jun; Anatoly Sachenko; Hu Zhengbing

The WSN standard IEEE802.15.4 basically uses frequency of 2,4 GHz for data transmission. This unlicensed frequency band is used by a variety of devices, standards and applications: IEEE802.11, Bluetooth and etc. In this paper is considered the increase of data transmission reliability increasing in WSN with the use of Residue Number System error correcting code. These codes have high correcting characteristics and simplified coding procedure.

The Degradation of Bandwidth in QoS Scheme for 4G Mobile Networks

Wu Junqi; Hu Zhengbing; Yang Jiuming; Su Jun

In this paper, we present a bandwidth degradation QoS scheme for adaptive multimedia services in next generation wireless/mobile networks, and introduce it in mobile networks to improve the performance of channel allocation. The proposed schemes are the generic call admission control (CAC) algorithm and the admission policy to support multiple rates, multiple class traffic of next generation mobile network. Based on diverse QoS parameters be included in connection request, a two-stage bandwidth degradation QoS CAC algorithm is presented to satisfy the diverse QoS requirement and utilize the system resource efficiently. The simulation results show that the performance of our scheme is preferable to that of existing schemes.

Wu Junqi; Yang Zongkai; Hu Zhengbing; Liu Yumei

Nowadays people in the area of e-Learning contents development are paying attention to educational computer games, which utilize games in education for pleasant learning. In many respects, the relevant technologies are sufficiently sophisticated for ambitious game designs. However, design theory itself is lagging behind. This study purposes to analyze the status of current educational computer games, and then puts forward some principles and guidelines for designing educational computer games. Hope the guidelines will benefit to the designer of educational computer games.

Data science applications to improve accuracy of thermocouples

Hu Zhengbing; Vladimir Jotsov; Su Jun; Orest Kochan; Mykola Mykyichuk; Roman Kochan; Taras Sasiuk

This paper considers the usage of artificial intelligence, in particular, neural networks, to correct and compensate thermocouple errors. There are the correction of the thermocouple tolerance, the error due to conversion characteristic drift under the influence of high operating temperatures as well as the compensation of the error due to acquired thermoelectric inhomogeneity of thermocouple legs proposed in this paper. The correction is carried out using individual mathematical models based on neural networks. It is proposed the neural network method for controlling a temperature field to compensate the error due to acquired thermoelectric inhomogeneity.

The Structure of EMIF and its Model for Data Exchange and Message Processing

Wang Yanfeng; Bao Xinlong; Hu Zhengbing

Among the numerous EMISs (Education Management Information System), the ubiquitous problems such as the difficulties for data sharing and the limited abilities for interoperating make the information systems of different colleges and different departments isolated. Therefore, the committee of Educational Information Technology Standardization (belong to Ministry of Education of China) issued specifications, Education Management Information System Interoperability Framework, which are good solutions for those problems. In this paper, the framework structures and data exchange models as well as the message formate of EMIF are discussed. The systematic analyses for functional demands of a Zone Integration Server (ZIS), the core component of the EMIF, are made, also its functional model is given. The implementation mechanism and algorithm based on message services, message transportation, and message management for the key functions such as message processing are given, and an instance for providing message processing is presented. Finally, the structure for the data interoperation among multi-EMIS on the campus net based on EMIF is discussed.

An Improved Algorithm to Optimize the Access Time of Data Broadcast in Mobile Computing Environments

Xu Long; Hu Wenbin; Hu Zhengbing; Tan Xinlong; Xia Chang

With its large market potential and large amounts of clients, mobile data broadcasting has been a very essential part of nowadays communication. As mobile data broadcasting become more important, the algorithm to make it more efficient has been a highly-focused area of scientists in related field. A algorithm called Naive Approach Schedule Algorithm(NASA for short) was presented by some professors. Its aim is to optimize average data access time as much as possible. It can be divided into 2 main stages: determine data’s broadcasting ratio; determine data items’ broadcasting schedule. However, data’s broadcasting ratio is not accurately calculated, which affects the performance of this algorithm directly. This paper proposes an algorithm based on Naive Approach Schedule Algorithm to optimize the access time of a data schedule. It calculates data’s broadcasting ratio carefully, and make the ratio close to its optimized value. At the same time, a small change is made in determining data items’ broadcasting schedule. Features of the algorithm presented in this paper are shown and related experiments are conducted. The result shows that, compared with NASA algorithm, it has almost the same average accessing time with relatively longer period. In other words, when their periods are the same, its performance is relatively better. And it maintains other important features of NASA algorithm.

Assessment Strategies for Classroom Teaching in Informationized Environment

Wu Junqi; Yang Zongkai; Hu Zhengbing; Liu Yumei

Assessment is an essential part of classroom teaching, and it plays an important role in teaching. But the traditional assessment is mostly charged by teachers, and there are many shortages. With the development of information technology, it is more efficient to improve teaching by using network technology, especially to assess classroom teaching. This article firstly introduces the assessment of classroom teaching and the situations of traditional assessment and then puts forward several new and practical assessment strategies in the information zed environment, finally it gives a summary of characteristics of assessment strategies of online instructional systems.

Effective Learning Activities Design with LAMS

Wu Junqi; Hu Zhengbing; Yang Zongkai; Liu Yumei

E-learning learning management systems have appeared for a few of years, but most of them just put their emphasis on “learning contents”, and ignore supporting and tracking the process of learning. LAM is a new type of Learning Activity Management System which makes a teacher be able to organize various activities of instruction under the support of technology. It’s easy to revise activities according to teaching, resources and environment, and share all the designs of learning activities. This paper firstly introduces the LAMS, and then discusses how to carry out classroom teaching design, and designs relevant design cases. It finally lists some points which should be paid attention to when designing learning activities sequence with LAMS and conclusions about application of LAMS.
