Analysis on Image Characteristic is a key step to understand and make good use of remote sensing image. Data models were employed to analyze for image quality of the Chinese-Brazil Earth Resources Satellite (CBERS-2) and LANDSAT/TM in Li-jiang region, Yunnan province. They include normalized model, univariate image statistics model, the ratio of inner and mutual variance model and spatial resolution model. The normalized model can be used to convert data into same physical quantity in order to make data be comparability. The other models can be used to open out the classified capability and information of data in supervised classification. With the study on data model, a method to analyze and assess remote sensing data was tried to bring forward

This paper calculates surface “true” temperature using the data of surface radiative temperature measured by the infrared radiometer calibrated with the standard black body, emissivity measured by an instrument of measuring the directional emissivity and the data of downward long-wave radiation measured by the net radiometer; and compares the differences between surface “true” temperature and radiative temperature. The results shows: (1)surface “true” temperature is higher than surface radiative temperature. The main reason is that sky is a cold environment when observing outside; (2)from the spatial variation curve of surface radiative temperature and surface “true” temperature, we can see that the more inhomogeneous of land surface, the larger of the curve magnitude, the greater of deviation degree. Keywords-Infrared radiometer; Downward long-wave radiation; Surface radiative temperature; Scale transformation.

DBMS (data base management system) plays an important role in administrating remote sensing data, and a lot of work has done. Today, building a spectrum database becomes easy through DBMS. Then, in Web-based spectrum database, how to access and display the data turns into the issue. A new way of Web-based model simulation is addressed in this paper. It provides three ways as parameters input, parameters filling in through Web, parameters upload from local and parameters extracting from the database. It also makes it easy to execute the model and to view the simulated results. A Web service is an interface that describes a collection of operations that are network accessible through standardized XML messaging. Based on Web services, we can integrate our model simulation with partners and clients in a fashion that is loosely coupled, simple, and platform independent.
