Dynamic time-varying spectrum allocation algorithm in Flexible Grid Optical Networks

We propose a spectrum allocation algorithm for time-varying traffic in Flexible Grid Optical Networks considering the correlations among traffic variations. The algorithm achieves lower blocking probability and minimize number of disruptions to the live connections.

A B/S Structure-Based T-MPLS Network Management System

The technology of T-MPLS will be widely used in the next generation packet transport network, and some advanced network management methods should be employed in it. To meet this requirement, we introduce a novel network management model based on B/S structure. This implement method integrates Servlet/JSP technologies on the basis of SNMPv3 protocol, fully demonstrating the methods distribution and cross-platform performance. Finally, a simulation result is given to evaluate this system’s performance.

A Self-Aware Security Mechanism Based on PTN ECMP Network

This paper presents a generic self-aware solution to guarantee the security of PTN network on ECMP condition. This mechanism, called OAM detection and multipath switching (ODMS) has two points. The first one is sending specific OAM packets periodical to detect out of order status of data flow. The second is switching the routing paths in variable periods according to the flow’s out of order proportion and security level. The mathematical analysis and simulation results both show ODMS’ good performance on guaranteeing the network’s security and quality of services. And ODMS can be widely used in the next generation ECMP-based PTN network.
