Contour control of the full flexible nozzle in the wind tunnel based on virtual shaft

The structure of the full flexible nozzle in 0.6m×0.6m trans-supersonic wind tunnel and its working principle and features were introduced. Combined with its mechanical structure features, various control structures were comparative analyzed and a multi-motor proportion synchronization control method which based on virtual shaft control principle was proposed. According to the synchronization error and the tracking error requirement of the multi-motor synchronization control system, simulation platform build system with four electric cylinders using MATLAB, convergence and robustness of the system were tested and verified. In order to control the flexible nozzle stably, mechatronics control scheme was designed. Simulation and experiment results showed that the control algorithm had quick convergence rate, good synchronization accuracy and stability behavior. Its proved that the research on contour control of the full flexible nozzle in the wind tunnel achieved the desired objectives.

The continuous dynamic simulation test of the Captive Trajectory System used in 2.4m Transonic Wind Tunnel

This paper presents the general process of velocity control of the Captive Trajectory Simulation System (CTS) used in 2.4m Transonic Wind Tunnel and its control principle. The two key technical problems in the velocity control of the CTS jig, including the continuous coordinated control of the jig along dynamic trajectory and the real-time filtering of the dynamic banlance signal, are disscussed in detail. By designing an optimized coordinated buffering control algorithm and two kinds of real-time filtering algorithms with little lag, the key technique problems are solved effectively and practicably. The wind tunnel CTS test results shows that the simulating trajectory generated by the velocity control of the CTS jig is precisely identical as a whole to the test data generated by the move and stop control method, while the former test tecnique has greatly improved the efficiency of the CTS test in wind tunnel, and has reduced energy consumption considerably.

Development of the nozzle control system in 0.6m trans-supersonic wind tunnel

To realize the contour control of the full flexible nozzle in the new 0.6m × 0.6m transonic and supersonic wind tunnel of CARDC, compare with Hydraulic Mode, Hydraulic+Motor Mode, Motor Mode and solve the multi-axis synchronous control problem. Adopt electric cylinders and electric putters as the actuators of the control system. Address Virtual Axis synchronization strategy and optimize the relevant control parameters based on SIMENS SIMOTION D, design the hardware composing and software function according to its structure and technical requirements. Test results of the multi-axis synchronous control experiment were analyzed, which validate that the nozzle control system has high accuracy and good stability in synchronous control. The developed system and proposed algorithm can meet the engineering application request and achieve good effect in addition.
