Digital subscriber line echo canceller with adaptive beamformer

To increase the convergence speed and reduce the echo canceller complexity associated with the cancellations of digital subscribe loop echo responses with long tails, we propose a new IIR echo canceller with an adaptive beamformer. The proposed echo canceller was found to have a faster convergence speed and substantial complexity reduction compared with conventional FIR and IIR echo canceller.
