A Study on Media Art using Volumetric Display by Floating Technique

Today media images create a new world combined with technology progresses and it is being applied in various fields not only art works but performance, advertising and marketing. This study is focused on research on volumetric display using floating technique in media arts. Learning history and principle of the passed technique not only allow us to know the flow of it we use today but also help us to understand how the technique is advanced and applied in numerous fields. In this paper, we review the principle and background of the floating technique and survey related media art works.
