I. Demeter; L. Keszthelyi; I. Szentpétery; Judit Szücs; Z. Szokefalvi-Nagy; L. Varga; J. Zimányi; H. U. Gersch; W. Rudolph

The investigation of γ spectra of the isobaric analogue resonances gives useful information about the structure of the nuclei. Our original aim was to look for isobaric analogue resonances in (p, γ) reactions on several nuclei, and to study the systematics of their γ spectra.

γ-Ray spectra of analogue resonances in the 48Ti(p,γ)49V reaction

I. Demeter; L. Keszthelyi; I. Szentpétery; Z. Szokefalvi-Nagy; Judith Szücs; L. Varga; J. Zimányi

Abstract The γ-ray spectra from the 1.007–1.013 MeV double and 1.362 MeV single resonances of 48 Ti(p,γ) 49 V were measured with scintillation and Ge(Li) detectors. Branching ratios and transition widths were determined and compared with theoretical values.

The g-factor of the 320 keV state of 51V measured by Coulomb excitation in Fe-V alloy

L. Keszthelyi; I. Demeter; Z. Szökefalvi-Nagy; L. Varga; Z. Zámori

Abstract The g -factor of the 320 keV first excited state of 51 V measured by Coulomb excitation in Fe-V alloy was found to be g = 1.54±0.13.

Resonances in F19+p reactions at 224 and 340 keV proton energies

L. Keszthelyi; I. Berkes; I. Demeter

Measuring the angular distribution and α-γ correlation on the 6.14 MeV γ-radiation and α-rays from the resonance at 224 keV in the F19 (p, αγ)O16 reaction, spin and parity 2-have been assigned to the 13.086 MeV excited level in Ne20. The relative intensities of the 11.56 MeV M1 γ-rays from the F19 (p,γ)Ne20 and the 6.14 MeV γ-rays from the F19(p, αγ)O16 reaction at 340 keV proton energy have been determined. The intensity ratio was found to be I11.56I6.14 = (1.0±0.2) · 10−4. From this one finds Γγ11.56 = 0.20±0.056 eV.

Magnetic moments of the 295 and 357 keV states of 103Rh

Z. Szőkefalvi-Nagy; I. Demeter; L. Keszthelyi; G. Mezei; L. Varga

Abstract The g-factors of the 295 and 357 keV excited states of 103Rh measured by Coulomb excitation in Fe-Rh alloy were found to be 0.28(16) and 0.54(3) respectively. The cascade decay of the 357 keV level was carefully taken into account in the evaluation of the 295 keV energy case.

The g-factor of the 633 keV level in 188Os

L. Keszthelyi; I. Demeter; I. Dézsi; L. Pócs

Abstract The g -factor of the 633 keV 2 + K = 2 γ-vibrational state in 188 Os was measured with the use of an internal magnetic field and found to be 0.39±0.12. The known values of the g -factor of the 155 keV 2 + K = 0 state and of the E2-M1 mixing parameter of the 478 keV radiation permitted the evaluation of the ratio of the strength of pairing forces for protons to that for neutrons as G p / G n = 1.53±0.02.

ANOMALOUS HYPERFINE FIELD AT Rh NUCLEUS IN Fe--Rh ALLOY FOLLOWING LOW ENERGY COULOMB EXCITATION.

L. Keszthelyi; I. Demeter; L. Pócs; Z. Szőkefalvi-Nagy; L. Varga

The values of the rotation angles for the 298 keV and 360 keV states of103Rh measured after Coulomb-excitation with 2.5 MeV protons in Fe51.5 Rh48.5 alloy are interpreted by considering the existence of a transient field at such low energies, too.
