The review of the recent results on spin effects in few nucleon systems obtained at LHEP-JINR are presented. The data on the deuteron analyzing powers in different reactions in the wide energy range demonstrate the sensitivity to the spin structure of the light nuclei. The future plans on the studies with polarized deuterons from new polarized ion source at Nuclotron will be reported.

Recent results on the deuteron analyzing powers obtained in collisions of polarized deuterons with protons and light nuclei at intermediate and high energies are reported. The obtained results are sensitive to the spin structure of the short range correlations. The prospects of the spin program for hadronic reactions at Nuclotron-NICA facility is discussed. The polarimetry developments are also presented.

The results on the measurements of dp-elastic scattering cross section at the energy 2 GeV at Internal Target Station at the Nuclotron JINR are reported. The data were obtained for the angular range of 70°–107° in the c.m.s. by using CH2 and C targets. The results are compared with the existing data and with the theoretical calculations based on the relativistic multiple scattering theory.

The feasibility study for the measurements of the polarization observables in the 3He(d,p) 4He reaction for DSS project using a part of the BM@N setup have been performed. Deuteron beam with energy of 1.5 GeV, magnet, 12 stations GEM tracker and TOF wall were used in simulations in order to obtain momentum resolution and to prove the separation of the secondary protons and deuterons. Summarized results of the dp breakup reactions with detection of two protons in coincidence for some kinematic configurations at energies from 300 to 500 MeV obtained in Nuclotron are presented.

The spin program at NICA using SPD and MPD requires high intensity polarized proton beam with high value of the beam polarization. First results on the measurements of the proton beam polarization performed at internal target at Nuclotron are reported. The polarization of the proton beam provided by new source of polarized ions has been measured at 500 MeV using quasielastic proton-proton scattering and DSS setup at internal target. The obtained value of the vertical polarization of ~35 % is consistent with the calculations taking into account the current magnetic optics of the Nuclotron injection line.

Experimental dp → ppn data have been obtained by nine detector configuration at 400 MeV at Internal Target Station of Nuclotron with using Polyethylene and Carbon targets. After detector calibration experimental data were compared with GEANT4 simulation. Experimental data have been taken at detector configuration in which possible relativistic effects can appear. d3He → p4He reaction is planned to be investigated at the extracted beam of Nuclotron at energy range of 1.0–1.75GeV. Presented simulation of the reaction is aimed on possibility to perform experimental study at extracted deuteron beam of Nuclotron with partial using of BM@N setup.
