The characteristics of measurements of parameters of impulses of the subnanosecond range in the coaxial waveguides by capacitive dividers of different type are considered. Advantages of application of dividers with partial integration and procedure of subsequent numerical restoration of initial impulse are showed.

Characteristics of application of impulse reflectometry in investigation of ultra-wideband circuits

Features of impulse reflectometry of the sub-nanosecond range are considered. The influence of parameters of a probing signal in the ultrabroadband nonuniform systems on the results of measurements is analyzed. An algorithm of processing of measurement data that allows accounting of the shape of the probing signal and numerous reflections, originating from nonuniform systems, is proposed.

Impulse sub-nanosecond reflectometry

Features of impulse reflectometry using sub-nanoseconds pulses are considered. Impacts of non-uniformities in the system to the measured signal parameters are analyzed. An algorithm for observed data processing that takes into account the test signal envelope and numerous reflections originating in non-uniform system is proposed.

Features and results of experimental parametrical study of high-voltage breakdown in dense dielectric media are considered. Influence of temporal characteristics of the test system to breakdown parameters of dielectric is shown. Design and performance data of voltage and current sensors together with algorithm for experimental data processing are discussed.
