The problems of simulation of discharge current control and its gas-dynamic stabilization for technological glow discharge electron guns with a cold cathode are considered in a paper. Such guns are successfully operated in soft vacuum and can be used in modern microelectronic technologies for providing of thermal operations with using different technological gases including active ones. The results of theoretical and experimental investigation of automatic control system of current of electron gun which were used for deposition of coatings in reactive gas medium are presented in article. Time of regulation for considered system did not exceed 400 ms. Is proved, that the automatic control of a current of a glow discharge electron gun by pressure variation its volume is effective on all operation range of pressure, and the minimum time of a current regulation can be tens -- hundred of ms, and this fact is allow to use in the majority of technological operations for microelectronic production.

The results of simulation the dependences of high voltage glow discharge electron guns current on the parameters of electromagnetic valve are considered in this paper. The valve is considered as the main element of gas-dynamic control system of discharge current. As the result, the analytical relation for approximation the dependence of discharge current on the voltage at the coil of electromagnetic valve is obtained and analyzed.

The typical “Green Computing” case studies are discussed. The deployments scenarios based on waste heat modeling and recycling are discussed. The following simplified models to solution of the Boltzmann thermodynamic equations are examined. Taken into account the presented models the approximated estimations regarding to PUE within the computing centers of the cloud and HPC providers can be met.

The estimations for electrons temperature and mobility in anode plasma of High Voltage Glow Discharge (HVGD) in condition of lighting the additional discharge are given in this paper. These estimations are based on the theory of interactions between the discharge plasma and electron beam. Obtained theoretical estimations are very important to precision valuation the time of discharge current increasing in the impulse regime of gun operation.

This paper is devoted to the theoretical estimations of energetic efficiency of High Voltage Glow Discharge (HVGD) electron sources in the impulse regime of operation. Balance of energy on the discharge electrodes is analyzed, estimation of energy dissipation in anode plasma is also provided. As a result of investigation obtained the analytical relation for calculation the efficiency of HVGD electron sources. Obtained simulation results are in the good agreement with experimental data.

The principles of parallel computing and its deployment for simulation of technological electron sources are examined. With the goal of investigation of the particularities of chosen algorithms to parallelization the matrix presentations and calculation functions are proposed. The traditional approach with use of the task decomposition is also taking into account. The runtime tests were provided for the simulation for electron-ion optics of high-voltage glow discharge electron guns.

Article is devoted to the experimental investigation of ion-electron secondary emission in impulse high voltage glow discharge electron sources. The dependences of secondary ion-electron emission coefficient from the maximal discharge current, acceleration voltage, the voltage on additional electrode, and from frequency of impulses and its duty factor are presented and analyzed.

This paper is devoted to theoretical analyze of current-voltage and energetic characteristics of triode high voltage glow discharge electron guns, which are very advanced for using in modern electron beam technologies. Regulation of high voltage discharge current is realized by lighting additional low-voltage non-self-maintained discharge. Provided theoretical analyze is based on solving of equation of particles balance in anode plasma with taking into account the condition of discharge self-maintaining. Calculated current-voltage and energetic characteristics for different pressure and voltage of additional discharge are given. Obtained theoretical results are comprised with experimental data.

Motivation.
