Simulation Model for Evaluation of the DVB-SH-A Performance

This paper presents our simulation model for DVB-SH system following the ETSI standard EN 302 583. Simulation model includes DVB-SH transmitter and receiver, supports different system parameters and transmission channels. The model provides overall evaluation of DVB-SH system parameters and can be used for educational purposes.

Capacitive coupling clamp

This paper reports on a great area of electromagnetic compatibility. Special attention is given to measurement of electromagnetic interference established via the cable. A capacitive coupling clamp that conforms to requirements of ISO 64000-4-4 is built for measuring the resistance of three different cables (a twisted pair, RG - 58A/U and RG - 213/U) to external sources of continuous electromagnetic waves. The result is comparison of resistance to external interference of named cables.

Efficiency of the Materials used in Building TEM-Cell

This paper deals with the efficiency of TEM shield. Operator working with TEM cell should be protected from the radiation from inside the cell or from any possible leakage (from the door, i.e.). Theoretical analysis and calculation was used to compare standard materials for the shield with cheaper and more simple solution. Simple aluminium foil placed on a dielectric material is sufficient in obtaining enough shield protection, while still keeping electrical properties of the cell.
