New experimental set-up for the detection of de Broglie waves☆

Augusto Garuccio; Vittorio Rapisarda; J.P. Vigier

Abstract We present a new experimental set-up to detect the existence of de Broglie waves. Since it uses only one, very weakened, incoherent source it escapes preceding objections and can test conflicting predictions of the Copenhagen (CIQM) and causal stochastic (SIQM) interpretation of quantum mechanics.

Preliminary observations on possible implications of new Bohr orbits (resulting from electromagnetic spin-spin and spin-orbit coupling) in “cold” quantum mechanical fusion processes appearing in strong “plasma focus” and “capillary fusion” experiments

R Antanasijevic̀; I Lakicevic̀; Z Maric̀; D Zevic̀; A Zaric̀; J.P. Vigier

Abstract The theoretical interpretation of recently observed “excess heat” (i.e. break-even) in low intensity electrolytic and discharge experiments (with both deuterium and hydrogen) as resulting from a new type of non-nuclear quantum phenomena (i.e. spin-spin and spin-orbit couplings added to the usual Coulomb potential in specially structured dense media) leads to the prediction that “fusion ashes” of deuterium (or deuterium compounds now in vanishingly small quantities) will grow with the current intensity input, thus increasing the excess energy output. To test this prediction one can study the dynamic of fusion reactions in simple capacitor bank discharges into deuterated media, both in plasma focus (PF) and capillary fusion (CF) type experiments.

Causal action-at-a-distance interpretation of the aspect-Rapisarda experiments

Nicola Cufaro Petroni; J.P. Vigier

Abstract Recent results in EPR-type experiments on singlet photon pairs which establish (a) the non-existence of local hidden variables, (b) the existence of quantum superluminal correlations between the action of independent parts of a measuring device separated by space-like intervals, are interpreted causally within the frame of the stochastic interpretation of quantum mechanics.

Stochastic derivation of the Dirac equation in terms of a fluid of spinning tops endowed with random fluctuations at the velocity of light

N. Cufaro Petroni; J.P. Vigier

Abstract If one analyzes the stochastic behaviour of classical “rigid” tops imbedded in Diracs aether (relativistic thermostat) one obtains (for random jumps at the velocity of light) a probability distribution corresponding to the Feynman-Gell-Mann equation for relativistic spin 1 2 particles.

Causal space-time paths of individual distinguishable particle motions in N -body quantum systems: Elimination of negative probabilities

N. Cufaro Petroni; C. Dewdney; P.R. Holland; A. Kyprianidis; J.P. Vigier

SummaryThe quantum Klein-GordonN-particle system is shown to admit a causal space-time description. In the frame of the stochastic interpretation of quantum mechanics, we show how an explicit world-line construction should be undertaken and prove that positive energy is always associated with positive probability densities.

Stochastic model for the motion of correlated photon pairs

N. Cufaro Petroni; J.P. Vigier

Abstract If one analyzes the stochastic behaviour of two massive ( m γ ≠0) photons imbedded in Diracs vacuum one obtains (with stochastic jumps at velocity of light) the two-particle Proca equations which one can use to interpret (i) the first results of the Aspect experiment; (ii) the future issues of the complete Aspect and Rapisarda experiments, if they will violate Bells inequality.

The energy spectrum of the hydrogen atom with magnetic spin-orbit and spin-spin interactions

A. Dragić; Z. Marić; J.P. Vigier

Abstract The energy spectrum of the hydrogen atom with magnetic spin-orbit and spin-spin interactions is calculated. The spectrum is similar to the standard hydrogen atom. No deep states are found.

An alternative derivation of the spin-dependent quantum potential

N. Cufaro Petroni; P. Gueret; A. Kypriakidis; J.P. Vigier

SummaryA new derivation, avoiding the difficulties of the old demonstrations, is given for the quantum potential form of spin-2/1 fields.
