This exploration addresses MHD stagnation point Powell Eyring nanofluid flow with double stratification. The effects of thermal radiation and chemical reaction are added in temperature and nanoparticle concentration fields respectively. Furthermore, appropriate transformations are betrothed to obtain nonlinear differential equations from the system of partial differential equations and an analytical solution of system of coupled differential equations is obtained by means of the renowned Homotopy Analysis method. Through graphical illustrations, momentum, energy and concentration distributions are conversed for different prominent parameters. Comparison in limiting case is also part of present study to validate the obtained results. It is witnessed that nanoparticle concentration is diminishing function of chemical reaction parameter. Moreover, mounting values of thermal and solutal stratification lowers the temperature and concentration fields respectively.

The prime objective of present exploration is to study effects of magnetohydrodynamic, Joule heating and thermal radiation on an incompressible Jeffrey nanofluid flow over a linearly stretched surface. Simultaneous effects of convective heat and mass boundary conditions are also considered. Obtained system of boundary layer equations is converted into ordinary differential equations with high linearity using appropriate transformations. Analytical solutions via homotopy analysis method are obtained and deliberated accordingly. Discussion of graphs pertaining different prominent parameters is also added. Numerical values of skin friction coefficient, local Nusselt and Sherwood numbers are also given and well deliberated. It is noted that higher values of thermophoretic parameter boost temperature and concentration distributions. Moreover, temperature field is an increasing function of radiation parameter.

A mathematical model has been established to study the magnetohydrodynamic second grade nanofluid flow past a bidirectional stretched surface. The flow is induced by Cattaneo–Christov thermal and concentration diffusion fluxes. Novel characteristics of Brownian motion and thermophoresis are accompanied by temperature dependent thermal conductivity and convective heat and mass boundary conditions. Apposite transformations are betrothed to transform a system of nonlinear partial differential equations to nonlinear ordinary differential equations. Analytic solutions of the obtained nonlinear system are obtained via a convergent method. Graphs are plotted to examine how velocity, temperature, and concentration distributions are affected by varied physical involved parameters. Effects of skin friction coefficients along the x- and y-direction versus various parameters are also shown through graphs and are well debated. Our findings show that velocities along both the x and y axes exhibit a decreasing trend for the Hartmann number. Moreover, temperature and concentration distributions are decreasing functions of thermal and concentration relaxation parameters.A mathematical model has been established to study the magnetohydrodynamic second grade nanofluid flow past a bidirectional stretched surface. Abstract Three dimensional chemically reactive upper-convected Maxwell (UCM) fluid flow over a stretching surface is considered to examine Soret and Dufour effects on heat and mass transfer. During the formulation of energy equation, non-linear radiative heat flux is considered. Similarity transformation reduces the partial differential equations of flow problem into ordinary differential equations. These non-linear differential equations are then solved by using bvp4c MATLAB built-in function. A comparison of the present results with the published work is also included. Effects of some prominent parameters such as Soret and Dufour number, chemical reaction parameter, Prandtl number, Schmidt number and thermal radiation on velocity, temperature and concentration are discussed graphically and numerically. A comparison with the previously published work is also included in a tabular form.

A mathematical model is framed to discuss the flow of carbon nanotube-suspended nanofluids with Cattaneo-Christov heat flux and binary chemical reaction. The flow analysis is performed in attendance of heat generation/absorption, energy activation, and buoyancy effects past a nonlinear stretched surface embedded in a non-Darcy permeable medium. A combination of varied nanotubes with base fluids is also taken into account. The Runge-Kutta fifth-order Fehlberg technique is engaged to find the numerical solution of a highly nonlinear problem. The impact of sundry parameters on involved distributions is illustrated graphically with requisite discussion keeping in view their physical aspects. Different tables that comprise numerically calculated values of numerous sundry parameters highlighting their physical significance are also erected. It is witnessed that velocity and temperature profiles are enhanced for mounting values of nanoparticle volume fraction parameters. Further, it is seen that for enhancing th...

The impact of nonlinear thermal radiation in the flow of micropolar nanofluid past a nonlinear vertically stretching surface is investigated. The electrically conducting fluid is under the influence of magnetohydrodynamics, heat generation/absorption and mixed convection in the presence of convective boundary condition. The system of differential equations is solved numerically using the bvp4c function of MATLAB. To authenticate our results, two comparisons with already studied problems are also conducted and an excellent concurrence is found; hence reliable results are being presented. Complete deliberation for magnetite nanofluid with Ferric Oxide (Fe3O4) nanoparticles in the water-based micropolar nanofluid is also given to depict some stimulating phenomena. The effect of assorted parameters on velocity, homogeneous-heterogeneous reactions, temperature and micropolar velocity profiles are discussed and examined graphically. Moreover, graphical illustrations for the Nusselt number and Skin friction are given for sundry flow parameters. It is examined that temperature distribution and its associated boundary layer thickness increase for mounting values of the magnetic parameter. Additionally, it is detected that the Nusselt number decays when we increase the values of the Biot number.
