Reinventando práticas de enfermagem na educação em saúde: teatro com idosos

El estudio tiene como objetivo elaborar una intervencion de enfermeria en educacion para la salud, centrandose en la promocion de la salud de un grupo de personas mayores, utilizando como herramienta el arte escenico. Se trata de una investigacion-accion, llevada a cabo a traves de reuniones semanales, establecidas previamente en un espacio reservado. En las reuniones fueron explorados los siguientes temas: Acogida; La construccion de historias de vida; Extraccion de mascaras; Viaje en la imaginacion/diversidad de los escenarios; Trabajando las emociones - comunicacion no verbal; Trabajo del cuerpo - movimiento en el escenario; haciendo caras y bocas; talleres de los personajes; Ensayando un acto teatral - Lo que la vida me enseno y lo que le puedo ayudar. El teatro resulto en una excelente herramienta para el empoderamiento de la poblacion anciana, con base en el valor de sus experiencias de vida.Resumen The study has as a goal, elaborate a nursing intervention in health education, focusing on health promotion from a group of elderly people using arts as tool. This is an action research, conducted through weekly meetings, previously defined in placeholder. In the meetings the following themes were explored: Reception; construction of life histories; Removing masks; Traveling in imagination/ diversity of scenarios; Working the emotion: nonverbal communication; Body work: moving on the stage; Making faces; Shop characters; Rehearsing a theater play – what life has taught me and what you can anticipate. The theatre showed an excellent way in the empowerment of the elderly population from the recovery and their life experiences.

Culture Circles in adolescent empowerment for the prevention of violence

An action research based on Paulo Freires Culture Circles was developed to implement a health education intervention involving adolescents, in collective knowledge construction about strategies for the prevention of violence. The data collection in the Culture Circles involved 11 adolescents and included observation and field diary, photographic records and recording. The educational action aroused a critical socio-political and cultural position in the adolescents towards the situations of vulnerability to violence, including the guarantee of human rights, justice and the combat of inequities; changes in the social relations, combat against discrimination and intolerance; expansion of access and reorientation of health services through intersectoral public policies. The intervention empowered the group of adolescents for the prevention of violence and permitted the inclusion of health professionals in the school context, from an interdisciplinary perspective, contributing to the establishment of social support and protection networks.

Promoção da saúde na comunidade indígena Pankararu

The objective of the study was to know how the Pankararu indigenous perceive their health situation and identify actions they prioritize as necessary to promote health in their community. Qualitative research, in which the declarations collected were subjected to the technique of analyzing the Collective Subject Discourse. It was identified that in the indigenous perception, as the health status of their community, there is a lack of general assistance, and a lack of professionals to assist them meeting their needs. In relation to actions that the Indigenous prioritize as necessary to promote the health of their community, it was highlighted provision of health unit with trained professionals and access to health education actions. Intervenção educativa sobre violência com adolescentes: possibilidade para a enfermagem no contexto escolar

Objective: This study aimed to perform an educational intervention with adolescents on violence in schools context, using the Culture Circles. Methods: Action-research, with qualitative approach conducted in October 2011. Data collection include: participative observation with daily field notes, photographic recording and filming and production of the puppet theater group. Participants were 12 adolescents from a public school in Recife-PE. The analysis was performed by triangulating data in dialogue with the literature. Results: Problematization provided by Circle of Culture allowed the teenagers reveal the many manifestation facets of violence through situations of physical and verbal aggression among school members, threats against teachers and violence against property, even those symbolic practices involving forms of Bullying. Conclusion: The health education intervention has opened possibilities for nurse inclusion in the school setting in order to strengthen networking for the work to prevent violence.Este estudo objetivou realizar uma intervencao educativa com adolescentes sobre a violencia no contexto escolar, utilizando a metodologia de Circulos de Cultura. Metodos: Pesquisa-acao, de abordagem qualitativa, realizada em outubro de 2011. A coleta de dados incluiu: observacao participante com diario de campo, registro fotografico e filmagem, e, como producao do grupo, teatro de fantoches. Participaram 12 adolescentes de uma escola publica do Recife-PE. Para analise, recorreu-se a triangulacao de dados em dialogo com a literatura. Resultados: A problematizacao proporcionada pelo Circulo de Cultura permitiu aos adolescentes desvelar as diversas faces de manifestacao da violencia, mediante situacoes de agressao fisica e verbal entre os membros escolares, ameacas contra o professor e violencia contra o patrimonio, ate aquelas formas simbolicas envolvendo praticas de constrangimento. Conclusao: A intervencao de educacao em saude abriu possibilidades para insercao da(o) enfermeira(o) no cenario escolar a fim de fortalecer articulacoes em rede para o trabalho de prevencao a violencia.

Encaminhamento oferecido ao paciente em sofrimento psíquico na emergência geral

Objective: This study aims to analyze the forwarding given to patients in psychological distress in a general emergency of a public hospital. Methods: Developed it an exploratory and descriptive survey of qualitative analysis, with fourteen professionals of a general emergency in Recife. Data were collected through a semi structured instrument and interviews were recorded and transcribed. They treated the data by thematic analysis content technique highlighting four categories. Results: According to the results, respondents said the patient for psychological distress in emergency situations should be referred to a specialized hospital. Ignore what he says the Psychiatric Reform, referencing these people to any other hospitals. We reject this patient in this space. Conclusion: Given this perspective believe that mental health needs to take firm steps into actions and awareness training of health professionals on social accountability so necessary to the humanization of care.

Promoção do autocuidado da pessoa em sofrimento psíquico

Objective: This experience report aimed to central goal awakening self-care in psychiatric patients in a hospital unit, allowing better treatment compliance and facilitating post-hospital monitoring by the Centers for Psychosocial Support. Methods: The work was done during the years 2009 and 2010, from a series of educational activities in health, developed with the target population of research at a hospital. Results: The interaction with the patient, intending a humanized approach, noted the need to establish yourself a less technical activity, giving the patient the opportunity to be protagonist in the self-care process, not just the object of it. Conclusion: For authors, the results provide learning on the unusual: the experience with the work of reception, engagement and commitment necessary for any activity relating to dealing with human. With respect to patients, they experienced the monitoring and incentive for improvement, more intense, objective and entertaining.

Violência sob o olhar de adolescentes: intervenção educativa com Círculos de Cultura

OBJECTIVE to apply the methodology of Culture Circles on adolescents as a strategy for health education of nurses in the construction of the collective knowledge of the thematic violence. METHOD action research type and qualitative study. Participants were 11 adolescents from a public school in Recife, PE, Brazil. Data production in Culture Circles included the participant observation with field diary, photographic recording and filming, as well as the photovoice technique. The analysis was performed by triangulating data in dialogue with the literature. RESULTS it was shown that the problematizing action provided by the Culture Circle made possible to create situations in which adolescents felt invited to critically refl ect on the phenomenon of violence in all its complexity. CONCLUSION the health education intervention, performed by Culture Circles, added learning and mutual growth subsidizing nursing care actions that excel at leadership and autonomy of adolescents.
