A CASE OF NARCOLEPSY WITH PSYCHOSIS (PARANOID STATE OF NARCOLEPSY).

Summary A review of the cases of narcolepsy with psychosis has been presented. Two types of psychoses with narcolepsy were delineated, one typical of schizophrenia, and another atypical of schizophrenia. This latter, of which the case presented is an example, was termed Paranoid State of Narcolepsy. The relationship of the hypnagogic hallucinations of narcolepsy to the development of the Paranoid State of Narcolepsy was discussed.
