In this paper, we prove some unique fixed point results for an operator T satisfying certain rational contraction condition in a partially ordered metric space. Our results generalize the main result of Jaggi (Indian J. Pure Appl. Math. 8(2):223-230, 1977). We give several examples to show that our results are proper generalization of the existing one.MSC:47H10, 54H25, 46J10, 46J15.

We introduce and study the notion of common coupled fixed points for a pair of mappings in complex valued metric space and demonstrate the existence and uniqueness of the common coupled fixed points in a complete complex-valued metric space in view of diverse contractive conditions. In addition, our investigations are well supported by nontrivial examples.

The aim of this paper is to establish some fixed point theorems for set-valued mappings in the context of b-metric spaces. The proposed theorems expand and generalize several well-known comparable results in the literature. An example is also given to support our main result.MSC: 46S40, 47H10, 54H25.

AbstractIn this paper, employing a new concept of generalized compatibility of a pair of mappings defined on a product space, certain coupled coincidence point results of mappings involved herein are obtained. We also deduce certain coupled fixed point results without mixed monotone property of F. Our results generalize some recent comparable results in the literature. Moreover, some examples and an application to integral equations are given here to illustrate the usability of the obtained results. MSC:46S40, 47H10, 54H25.

In this paper we extend the Banach contraction for multivalued mappings in a cone b-metric space without the assumption of normality on cones and generalize some attractive results in literature.MSC:47H10, 54H25.

Wardowski (2011) in this paper for a normal cone metric space (X, d) and for the family 𝒜 of subsets of X established a new cone metric H : 𝒜 × 𝒜 → E and obtained fixed point of set-valued contraction of Nadler type. Further, it is noticed in the work of Janković et al., 2011 that the fixed-point problem in the setting of cone metric spaces is appropriate only in the case when the underlying cone is nonnormal. In the present paper we improve Wardowskis result by proving the same without the assumption of normality on cones.

Azam et al. (Numer. Funct. Anal. Optim. 33(5):590-600, 2012) introduced the notion of complex-valued metric spaces and established a common fixed point result in the context of complex-valued metric spaces. In this paper, the existence of common fixed points is established for multi-valued mappings on the complex-valued metric spaces. Our results unify, generalize and complement the comparable results from the current literature.MSC:46S40, 47H10, 54H25.

We obtain sufficient conditions for the existence of unique common fixed point of -weakly contractive mappings on complete rectangular metric spaces. In the process, we generalize several fixed point results from the literature. We also give an example to illustrate our work.

AbstractIn this paper, we obtain some common fixed point results for the mappings satisfying rational expressions on a closed ball in complex valued metric spaces. Our results improve several well-known conventional results. MSC:47H10, 54H25.

Abstract. In this paper, we extend the coupled coincidence point theorems for a mixed g-monotone operator F:X×X→X
