Solution of the downward continuation problem by collocation

SummaryThe modern satellite techniques enable to measure the gravity acceleration in space. The downward continuation of this measurements to the earths surface is by the closed theory practically impossible. Using the method of collocation we can estimate the values of Δ g in the limited region underneath the observation with a little loss of accuracy. Results of some numerical tests for elevation of 300 km are presented.

On Possible Determination of the Speed of the Gravity Signal in Space with help of Gradiometry

Integration of the ASG-EUPOS Permanent Stations with First Order National Geodetic Networks - Measurements and Results

Integration of the ASG-EUPOS Permanent Stations with First Order National Geodetic Networks - Measurements and Results The ASG-EUPOS network - the active geodetic network was established in Poland in 2008. The 2010/2011 campaign was the second one managed to integrate the ASG-EUPOS network with the first order national geodetic networks in Poland. As the result the station coordinates were determined in the uniform coordinate frame. The paper describes the measurements carried out for data acquisition as well as the data processing method. The results present analyses of differences between selected variants of solutions and show some problems encountered during the calculation.

GPS Receiver Development in the Space Research Centre Warsaw

The current state of the design and the contruction of the receiver based on the GPS signals is presented. The interferometer concept has been drafted. Some of the receiver details are presented in the description of the prototype of the receiver.
