INTRODUCTION the school stage represents a period of risk in the development of habits such as sedentary digital leisure, which favours future pathologies such as obesity. The practice of Physical Activity and the level of adherence to the Mediterranean Diet (MD) allows its prevention, being essential to promote motivational climates in sport that support a healthy lifestyle. MATERIAL AND METHODS the present study was carried out in a sample of 692 schoolchildren from the province of Granada. This research aims to develop a structural equation model that allows to analyse the relationships between motivational climate, healthy habits and maximal oxygen uptake. The main instruments used were the PMCSQ-2, KIDMED, PAQ-C and CERV. RESULTS the results show a direct relationship between the practice of PA, Task Climate and Ego Climate. PA was positively correlated with the use of videogames and maximum oxygen uptake. The problematic use of video games was positively associated with Ego Climate and negatively related to the level of adherence to the MD. Finally, Ego Climate was positively related to the level of adherence to MD. CONCLUSION the practice of PA oriented to Task Climate promotes a lifestyle more active, which improves the maximal oxygen uptake, reduces the sedentary digital leisure and is associated to a better dietary pattern. The ego-oriented goals also is associated with the quality of the diet, revealing the need to promote a physical-sports practice that favours intrinsic and extrinsic motivations.

EnglishThe motivational climate toward sport, through the theory of goal achievement, is one of the psychosocial factors studied the most in sports practice and in teaching physical education, since certain orientations may be more active, healthier lifestyles. The purpose of this study, which was performed on a sample of 490 university students who are doing the Primary Education degree course, is to define the motivational climate toward sport, as well as to establish relations according to the sex and type of town. The instruments used were the PMCSQ-2 questionnaire (Newton, Duda, & Yin, 2000) and an ad hoc questionnaire for sociodemographic variables. Statistically significant differences were found in the two dimensions of motivational climate according to the students’ sex, revealing that the task climate was higher in women and the ego climate in men. Likewise, statistical associations were found in all the factors except for the effort/improvement factor. By kind of town, it was revealed that the university students who live in urban areas showed higher scores on the ego climate

Therefore, the goal of this study is to analyse and establish relationships between the attitudes towards the use of doping of pre-university students depending on the kind of sport they do and whether they have ever been urged to use performance-enhancing drugs. A total of 829 students between the ages of 15 and 18 (M = 16.22 years old, SD = .77) participated and the kind of sport, being urged to take performance-enhancing drugs and attitudes towards doping variables were recorded and evaluated. The data were collected in an ad-hoc questionnaire using Petroczi’s (2002) Performance Enhancement Attitudes Scale (PEAS). The results showed that the majority of the participants had attitudes towards doping that are not very permissive; young people who went cycling or who regularly lifted weights have attitudes that are more prone to doping; participants who had been urged to use performance-enhancing drugs had more permissive attitudes towards doping; and individuals who went cycling or did weightlifting were those who had been urged to use performance-enhancing drugs most often.

Gloria González Campos; Javier Cachón Zagalaz; Santiago Romero Granados

The purpose of this study is to analyze the concurrent validity of the psychological variables self-confidence and anxiety among the psychological measurement instruments: Psychological Characteristics Questionnaire related to Sports Performance (CPRD); Competitive State Anxiety Inventory-2 (CSAI-2); and Sports Psychological Inventory LOEHR. For this purpose, a correlational study was conducted between the selected variables and pertinent aspects of the measurement instruments. The study has revealed that the psychological variables self-confidence and anxiety are relevant in all three instruments, although not in all of the selected items.

Rosario Castro López; Javier Cachón Zagalaz; David Molero López-Barajas; María Luisa Zagalaz Sánchez

One of the diseases that arouses increasing interest in the health field is the Muscle Dysmorphia (MD), which is why through this study will analyze your relationship with eating behavior disorders (ED) in athletes. The sample consisted of 154 athletes who routinely perform bodybuilding exercise, which were subjected to two self-administered test to measure your levels of muscle Dysmorphia (Adonis Complex) and their scores on ED test through the EDI-2. The results show statistically significant relationships (r = .47 p <.001) between the variable significant muscle Dysmorphia test many of TCA dimensions, a fact that confirms the link between both disorders. Also obtained through regression analysis TCA dimensions demonstrated predictors of the study variable, explaining them as a whole 28% of the variability of muscle Dysmorphia.
