Multiple authorship in nursing.

Little has been written regarding the multiple-authorship process (MAP) in nursing. A three-round Delphi study was conducted to ascertain a taxonomy of rewards and problems from experienced nurse authors. The findings were congruent with the literature and reflected variables involved in the group process. The findings provide insight into reasons for participation in MAP.

Effective teaching: a problem-solving paradigm.

Both the theory and practice of nursing require knowledge of problem solving. Nursing students need various models of problem solving to make effective nursing practice decisions. The authors of this article present Pridham, Hansen, and Conrads Paradigm as an approach that gives nursing students a systematic means to solve problems and faculty a well-defined plan for teaching problem-solving skills.
