This article examines the problems of lower secondary education in Spain (ESO, or compulsory secondary education), in view of the implementation of several education reforms, focusing on their effect on the crisis in secondary teachers’ professional identity. Using research data, we analyse their experience of the crisis and the problems involved in rebuilding teachers’ identity in times of change. Finally, some guidelines are provided for reaffirmation of teachers’ professional status.

Unemployment in people over 45 years old. A vicious circle? This work aims to determine the potentialities and access obstacles to employment shown by the unemployed and workers over 45 years old at risk of exclusion, as well as the existing social perceptions about this group, according to the experts’ perception. The research methodology used is mixed. The instrument used in the data collection process is the discursive interview with experts. The main results show how the most frequent perceptions, drawn from the experts’ discourse, conceive the unemployed over 45 years without training, as vulnerable people and with an uncertain labor future. The conclusions support the association between the most encouraging perceptions

This work shows the main keys for access to employment and some alternatives for this concerning to unemployed people older than 45 years, provided by experts on training and employment. The study is tackled through a discourse analysis of interviews to experts. The results stand out the orientation and qualification between the recommendations for access to employment; and entrepreneurship, submerged economy and mentoring between the employment alternatives. Arbeitslose uber 45 sind eine soziale Gruppe, die besonders unter der aktuellen okonomischen Krise in Spanien leidet. Die Massenmedien ignorieren sie, und diese soziale Unsichtbarkeit reduziert die Aussichten auf eine Reintegration weiter und schadigt deren Selbstbild. Blogs konnen als individuelle Webprasenz zu einem spezifischen Thema in der Informationsgesellschaft eine Alternative bieten. Ziel der empirischen Studie, aus der in diesem Beitrag berichtet wird, war es, die Lebenssituation dieser Betroffenengruppe mithilfe von Blogtexten zu Arbeit(slosigkeit) nachzuvollziehen. Hierzu kamen linguistische und kritische Diskursanalysen zum Einsatz. Aus zwolf Blogs, die im Kontext unserer Fragestellung besonders bedeutsam waren, wird im Beitrag berichtet: Sie helfen, die Anliegen besser zu verstehen und zu visualisieren und zentrale Themen zu identifizieren (personliche Erfahrungen, Reflexion, berufliche und professionelle Anleitung). Es ist hiervon ausgehend nachvollziehbar, dass die die aktuelle Arbeitslosigkeit und deren mediale Unsichtbarkeit Leben, Familien, finanzielle Sicherheit und Identitat dieser Personengruppe beeintrachtigen. ResumenEste trabajo aborda el tema de la publicidad en la escuela. Aboga por la integracion curricular de la publicidad y los medios de comunicacion en la oferta educativa actual. Propone la necesidad de fomentar el desarrollo de la capacidad critica y la autonomia de los alumnos frente a ella, desde el aprender haciendo y la reflexion profesional. Por ultimo, aporta unas lineas basicas de accion faciles de implementar desde las posibilidade s reales con las que cuentan los centros y los profesores aqui y ahora.
