Research of digital metering system and calibration technology of smart substation

Smart substation or digital substation has become a trend of development. The Ethernet digital quantity input digital meter has become an important electric energy metering device in the digital substation by using of electronic voltage current transformer. In this paper, the smart substation related key technologies and the digital measurement system and its calibration method was researched, and the calibration system architecture be designed, which make it accurate and convenient to realize digital measurement system calibration.

Error Analysis on Digital Metering Devices of New Generation of Intelligent Substation

Digital metering devices is taking important place in new generation of intelligent substation, but the method to analysis their error is not fit to its new characteristics. Aiming to improve the accuracy of error analysis result, this paper analyzed the error source of digital metering devices, and attempted to acquire how much do these influences affects the metering accuracy of digital metering devices in new generation of intelligent substation, furthermore, this paper did analysis on network abnormal event to find the relationship between network communication and metering error, finally simulating experiments were done to confirm the validity and effectiveness of research result.

Electric energy meter condition assessment based on fuzzy analytic hierarchy process

The operation error of the electric energy metering device directly affects the accuracy of the electricity trade calculation, so its very important to ensure the device working accurately. In this paper, three levels of indexes of electric energy meter were selected from the life cycle management, which cover basic information, operational monitoring and site inspection. Then the state evaluation system of electric energy meter was established. By variable weights, fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (AHP), we have established a state energy meter integrated assessment models. Using this model, the electric energy meters condition assessment result can be obtained by every indexs condition, which can provide the basis for adjusting the period of test and replacement for electric energy meter.

Design of a New Electric Energy Metering Cubicle System

Based on the analysis of traditional electric energy metering cubicle, there are still a lot of disadvantages in operation. This paper presents a new type of electric energy metering cubicle. The composite intelligent terminal wiring device, intelligent locking device and image monitoring equipment are applied to the traditional standard electric energy metering cubicle. It is suggested that the new electric energy metering cubicle can effectively ensure the safety of the staff, prevent power loss caused by incorrect wiring and avoid electricity theft.

Based on the research about properties of electrified railway traction load, transformer and its mode of connection, the allocation of current transformer is optimized, to achieve safe and economic operation of power grid.

Research on the online remote calibration technology of the digital meter

Digital power meter is widely used in smart substation, the workload of On-site calibration of digital power meter exponential growth. How to solve a lot of power table fieldwork accurately and easily make the remote online calibration study became the Necessary research project. This paper carried out for the digital meter calibration technology research, analyzes digital power meter Line Inspection technology, design a viable digital meter remote calibration systems and solutions. This system can effectively reduce the digital power meter artificial scheduled inspection project, and even obviate manual inspection, and it can reduce the inspection cost and improve reliability and efficiency.

Analysis on the Condition of the Electric Energy Metering Device and the Strategy of Inspection

The article points out that it is necessary to apply condition evaluation and condition test to the electric energy metering equipment, based on the actual working condition of electric energy metering equipment. Then, the data of voltage, current, power, frequency, temperature, humidity and so on, are collected by the condition detection equipment of the electric energy metering equipment. Coupling with the errors come from the standard meter and the periodic test on the spot, this article takes the suitable data as parameters, and synthetically evaluates the influence of complicated grid operating environment on accuracy and reliability of energy metering equipment. The criteria which reflect the condition value of the electric energy metering equipment are analyzed to determine the weight of each criterion, to establish the condition evaluation criterion, and to form the condition evaluation system. According to the state evaluation results, different inspection strategies are proposed.

State Management System of Gateway Electric Energy Metering Device Based on NI CompactRIO Platform

For the sake of real-time online monitoring the operating state and parameters of electric energy metering devices, detecting the abnormal states of devices, predicting the trend of electric energy metering device error, and changing the traditional management mode for electric energy metering devices, which adopts the cycle test rotation mechanism, this paper has proposed a state management system of electric energy metering device based on NI CompactRIO platform. The proposed system can implement real-time online management for monitoring the measurement error of electric energy meter, data acquisition of electric energy meter, test of Secondary Voltage Drop and Secondary Load of PT, test of Secondary Load of CT, video monitoring, measurement of temperature humidity, measurement of space magnetic, etc. The system combines CompactRIO platform and electric energy metering devices to acquire, monitor and analyze the real-time online data corresponding to electric energy meter, CT, PT and secondary loop. And the Energy metering error and the evaluation of parameters of electric energy metering device are calculated by the CPU, and the data is exchanged with the remote station by communication network. So the system improves the management efficiency and benefits of electric energy metering devices.

Aiming at the field live detection of the electric energy meter, the research on the new structure and the charged detection method of the terminal boxes were carried out. The results can be directly applied to the charged detection of the electric energy metering device, which can improve work efficiency and security. It has great significance to ensure that the electric energy metering device of the power system can operate safely, stably and economically.
